"My dad's last wishes were for his wake to be a happy party with a Dixieland Jazz Band. He certainly got his wish. The Ace Jazz Band played exactly what my dad would have loved, and people were dancing and remembering fondly how dad used to dance to such music. Alan, the leader, was easy to deal with, well organised and sociable. Thank you for making the eake more like a wedding!"

"Amazing set from a lovely duo. It was a surprise for my wife's 60th Birthday. They made her feel so special, singing and dancing with her. Ages from 25 to 75 all danced and sung the night away with a great variety of song choices. I would definitely book them again & recommend them to everyone, you won't regret it. Joanne has an amazing voice, she can sing everything and James is a great singing guitarist. We all loved it it and would like to thank them for a wonderful evening. "

"Simone sang at or wedding reception last year, and we couldn’t have been happier. The songs she sang were exactly what we wanted, and gave the whole event a really unique feeling. We had numerous guests come up and ask about her, and ask for her details. Vocally, I couldn’t think of anyone else that would have been better. "

"Justyn is honestly amazingly talented! He went above and beyond for us at our wedding, came with all his equipment and played all of the songs we requested. He even provides a playlist for you to curate the music you'd like for the day. Highly recommend!"

"Jon is most importantly a great musician who has sang and played at my recent birthday and he’s more than recommended. A true musician dedicated to music and entertaining people. Very good at building an atmosphere, and bringing an essence to everyone’s evening. Highly recommended if you are considering hiring John’s talents. He really is worth every penny!"

"This was a very short notice booking for my wifes 50th birthday surprise party and Becky was very responsive and took the booking and stayed in touch to confirm what we would like. Becky and her colleague - playing electric guitar - also overcame significant travel chaos due to train strike to make the do on time. They played a nice little set of covers - though with good arranging to suit the venue and clientel. The party was in a moderate sized front room and they coped well with this and level of amplification was just right. Everybody enjoyed the set and collectively we would give a solid 8 out of 10. Many thanks Becky."

"Chelsie sang at our wedding at Billesley Manor on 28th July 2023 and she was amazing! Not only is she the best wedding singer ever, she took the time to come and see me and my girlie's as we were getting ready to introduce herself which was just so lovely. "Matt has been amazing from the very start, we planned our wedding in under 4 months and were so glad Matt was available to play on our Wedding day. He learned some very special pieces of music close to us for the day and played so beautifully. "Nigel played for us when our guests were arriving at Huntsmill Farm. The weather was glorious and he was outside near the coffee van so our guest could have refreshments and listen to him play! He really added to the atmosphere of the day and set the scene for our wedding. "

" Black Velvet Band Irish Duo came to play at the Christmas Party for our CrossFit Gym held in the farmhouse on the site; they were easy and helpful to deal with from the start; everything clear and simple to follow. The performance was perfect for the occasion and Mike and his colleague were easy going and a pleasure to have around. They spent time with a guest who wanted to learn how to play one of the instruments and were great for getting people up and dancing. Thoroughly recommend the Irish Duo! "
