Review Centre: Jazz Bands

"I booked Below the Border for my wedding evening party at a cricket club in Surrey. We wanted a 70s covers band because that was the time of our University days and the type of music we knew would appeal to our guests. Below the Border are simply sensational musicians and very good singers. They also had a new female harmony singer who was excellent. The band were extremely professional and courteous and I thoroughly recommend them. They got everybody up dancing and even learnt one of our favourite T-Rex songs especially for our party."

Those that did hear and experience the music did love it and thought it added a lovely vibe to the party. You've been so easy to communicate with, both through the messages via email and the website but also by phone and it's actually been a really stress-free part of organising a party that meant a lot to us. "Superfunked played at my sisters wedding and they were awesome… Not just the amazing songs, but the interaction and the dancing… We had such a lovely time. Their sound system was amazing and they let us use their sound system for the disco afterwards as well. "

"Swing Mode Vintage absolutely made our day: they were absolutely the perfect evening entertainment for our wedding! The music was really really cool, they had people up and dancing and just really brought a great atmosphere with them. It was fantastic. The band were all really kind and well organised; there was zero stress & zero faff. They got everything set up in good time including background music between the two sets. They took a special request for our first dance and it was really really wonderful. Overall we were just thrilled with the music: it was really really cool stuff - modern and funky, but most important just great fun!"

"We hired The BV’s for a VIP launch of a new development. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, despite having a really tough crowd. The song selection was absolutely spot on for the event and we had lots of positive feedback from everyone who was at the event. I’d have no qualms in recommending the band again – fantastic!"
