"I recently hired The Detour for my 60th birthday celebration. They were very accommodating with our music tastes and engaged with us to ensure everything would go well on the night . They turned up on time and were absolutely brilliant 👏 They made made birthday very special and our guests had a fabulous time . I highly recommend them 👌 Thank you, so much !"

"They were a huge highlight to our wedding day last weekend. Everyone all night asked us how we found Straight Up and nothing was too much trouble for them! They learnt our first dance song beautifully and were just so lovely to work with. Would 100% book these guys again, thankyou!!! "

"Simon was fantastic, his play list was brilliant. He had everybody up on their feet dancing. Made the party really special. Heather had a great voice and was a great asset. Everyone really enjoyed the music. The choice was great and I would thoroughly recommend Simon if you want your party to go with a bang. "Sorry I didn't get a chance to email you yesterday to say thank you so much to you and your excellent band for providing us with such great entertainment on Saturday night. I had a lot of positive feedback yesterday from everyone who went to the party! We only have our Christmas party every other year but I won't hesitate to contact you again to book you for any other social functions we have. "Gary played at our annual garden party. As guests arrived he treated us to his new Bowie set. Everything was Hunky Dory! Next year we might go for the T. REX to start with before his wide ranging repertoire later on. We look forward to another Perfect Day In the Summertime!!"
