"Becks H, January 2020 Birthday party in Newtown, Buckland St Mary, Chard TA20 3TE, UK Emily was just fantastic. She was booked very last minute and was very accommodating with this approach. It was a surprise for my Dad's 82nd Birthday and it was such a delightful evening. It was an intimate evening, just family and Emily's mastery with her beautiful cello left not many dry eyes in the house. She was just great and my whole family had such a special, memorable and delightful evening. Thanks so very much Emily for making a special birthday , a truly fabulous night to remember."

"We loved having Sarah perform here for our first 'Pride Night' since before Covid! She has a great voice and repertoire of songs to choose from, including the ability to request songs via Instagram message that works brilliantly! IF you're after someone to give a nice relaxed vibe whilst enjoying the moment then she's your gal! Certainly looking to book her in again soon!"

""Julia was amazing!! I booked her a surprise for my husband for our wedding. Julia communicated excellently ahead of date, checking out which outfit to wear and what songs to play. Julia liaised directly with the venue to keep everything a secret from my husband. Being from a Scottish family - julia’s playing certainly brought a tear to the eye of my new husband and many family members! Julia looked amazing in her traditional uniform and played the pipes amazingly well. We even had an opportunity to pose with julia for some photos before she played us into our wedding breakfast. Julia, thank you! You certainly did not disappoint us!! I would highly recommend julia!!""

"Billy Watman is pretty remarkable. He’s done two shows for-or-at Henley Festival and frankly both audiences were stunned. He’s a remarkably confident lad for his years, but the confidence is doubtless built on an astonishing ability on the guitar. His Bohemian Rhapsody has attracted a lot of attention all round, but that’s far from where his talents begin or end. He is a very very accomplished guitarist and I will have great pleasure in seeing him go a long long way. Stewart Collins Henley Festival"

"I recently hired Billy for my father’s 80th birthday celebration, and the experience was truly memorable. From the first contact communication was excellent, with Billy accommodating all my requests and ensuring everything was arranged smoothly. On the day of the event, Billy arrived punctually and looked very professional in traditional attire, which added to the occasion's sense of grandeur. The performance itself was outstanding. The selection of tunes was perfect, combining a mix of traditional Scottish melodies and personal favourites that resonated with the guest of honour and the attendees. Many tears fell! Just beautiful. Billy’s presence elevated the entire atmosphere of the celebration, creating a nostalgic and celebratory mood that everyone enjoyed. Many guests commented on how the music brought a special touch to the event. Overall, Billy provided a top-notch service, and i would highly recommend him for any occasion requiring a skilled and professional piper. "Ingrid sang at my mother in law's funeral last week. Many people have told us what a beautiful service it was. All have mentioned the music. Ingrid's wonderful voice lit up the whole occasion and made it a truly memorable celebration of my mother in law's long life. Ingrid sang everything with emotion and meaning and was also happy to perform new material at short notice. It was fantastic!"

"Working with Lyra Strings was an absolute pleasure. After reaching out to LIPA for musician recommendations, Lyra Strings responded quickly with video samples and her bio. As the only solo musician at the event, Lyra Strings had a demanding schedule with multiple 1-1.5 hour performances. Despite this, she delivered flawless performances that created a beautifully relaxed and intimate atmosphere for our Cream Tea Experience. Since the event, we’ve received so many lovely comments from visitors who were impressed by her music. I would highly recommend Lara for any occasion that calls for a sophisticated and elegant musical touch."

"Billy came to play at the special meal we had organised in a local restaurant for a party of 18 friends to celebrate our civil partnership. Our friends have impossibly diverse and eclectic taste in music, but Billy’s playing of classical, Spanish, flamenco and pop music kept everyone happy. He has a unique playing style and his arrangements of music for the classical guitar was quite magical. Billy had a good sense of tempo taking it up or down a notch to suit the event. Who would have thought that a gig could encompass a flawless playing of Albeniz’ lyrical Asturias and end with a rousing rendition of Boney M’s Rasputin. Many thanks Billy – we will look out for any public gigs you do and hope to see you again before long! "
