Review Centre: Singers (Pop/Rock)

"Gavin is a fantastic musician with a tremendous vocal range and repertoire. He may not look like Neil Diamond or Johnny Cash but he sounds just like them when singing their songs, and all the other great pop and rock classics. His laptop contains full backing tracks to all the hit songs he performs so he literally is a one man band. As I requested, he added some of my own favourites such as the Chuck Berry classic Carol, and Love Hurts by the Everly Brothers, which are great to dance to, but give him a couple of weeks notice as some of these older and more obscure ones are difficult to track down. He can also do anything more modern for the younger generation and I cannot recommend him highly enough. All my guests were amazed that such a talented performer lived just a few miles away, and they had a great time singing along to rock anthems like Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond and I Would Walk 500 Miles by the Proclaimers. My party was held in the village cricket pavilion, which is quite small, but he did not take up much room or play too loud. All he needs is a mains socket and our Social Secretary is planning to get him back sometime soon. He was great and he made the party a great success . You will not find anyone better. 24/9/2016"

"Liam is a great musician, I’ve seen him perform at various corporate events & every time he’s been fantastic! When my partner & I decided we wanted a musician for our drinks reception I knew I’d love Liam to play for us. My partner listened to some of Liam’s music and instantly agreed. We got lots of lovely comments from our wedding guests about Liam, some whom have been listening to his music on Spotify etc ever since! We highly recommend Liam for any private / corporate event."

"Ziggy Darling were an amazing act. I had requested some specific songs which they were happy to learn and dedicate to certain family members. I had also asked that they didn't play at full volume as I was worried the noise would carry and they worked hard to accommodate that request. They were charming and friendly, interacting with our guests and making sure everyone had a good time. I can't recommend them enough and will 100% book them again should we have another event."

"Paul performed at our wedding and we absolutely loved it! He provided the perfect ambience with his background music during our ceremony and drinks reception. A number of our guests have commented on how great he was, and we couldn’t agree more! He was also easy to communicate with (and lovely!) during the planning stages, and even learnt a couple of songs specifically for our wedding, which added a real personal touch to the ceremony. I couldn’t recommend him more!"

"We had a superb entertainment by Gavin Clarke at our Masonic Ladies Festival. Gavin's selection of songs and singing were fantastic. The number of people that came up to say how impressed they were was truly heart warming. Getting people out to dance is a usual difficulty we face at our functions. "Andy came to play at my daughters wedding at Bedern Hall in York. He was prompt in dealing with all my correspondence and delivered a first class performance. He was very professional to deal with and arrived promptly. He played a variety of tracks and has a lovely tone and voice. I Would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a vocalist and guitarist. lots of the guests commented on how much they enjoyed his sets. I would definitely book again.
