"Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, Round About Swing did an incredible job both in our service (solo violin) and bringing a really lively party atmosphere to our winter drinks reception! They were also incredibly nice and easy to deal with. We feel so lucky to have had them there on our special day and our guests loved them too! "

"Harvey has sung and dj'd on two occasions for me. Both parties were brilliant thanks to his singing and choice of tunes. I highly recommend him. Everyone was dancing and singing along all night. Great repertoire of songs too."

"We were so grateful to Fruin for their warmth, energy, and impressive musicality at our recent wedding! They stepped in at the very last minute, and we are so glad they did. What an absolute joy! We had lots of guests unfamiliar with Ceilidh dancing, but their Ceilidh Calling was so patient and clear; they ensured even the most uninitiated could have a great time. We really appreciated their efforts to keep the floor full of dancing! "

"Back to Back were an amazing band for our 40th birthday party. They were really laid back about some quite complicated arrangements and nothing was too much trouble. The music was brilliant and got everyone up and dancing including all ages from 4-80. Can't recommend highly enough for your event."

"I hired the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for a party I was having (for its own sake!). I made initial contact with Kip online since I live in China and was arranging the party for when I would be at home in the summer. Kip was easy to deal with and the booking was arranged with just a few short emails. On the night, Kip and the rest of the band turned up with the same sense of ease and informality. They provided us with a fantastic night of entertainment with Kip giving clear instructions for the dances as caller. I would thoroughly recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for their quality musicianship, their excellent rates and for their warm and friendly service."

"​Katie and I just wanted to drop you a quick note to pass on our thanks to the guys for this Saturday at Cote How as it was an absolutely brilliant evening, and everyone had a great time. The guys from the band were brilliant and couldn’t have been more helpful on the night and were really nice all round personally too. Needless to say, we had a mixture of amateurs, those who have done quite a view barn dances and then the down right dreadful (think that’s the group I was in "

"Sue was amazing and I can’t recommend her highly enough!! She even learnt a Greek song for us and definitely nailed the play list we wanted. It was a wonderful touch to our day. "

"Booked Emma for a Halloween party in the house and she was absolutely amazing. Vocals were fab, play list was fab and Emma’s engagement with the audience was fab too. Everyone commented on how good you were Emma, thanks for learning a new song for me too, you sang it so well. Will definitely book you again, thanks so much for an excellent night of entertainment."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were let down last minute by the singer we had originally booked, but luckily, I contacted Anna and she happened to have a rare free slot for us. We were celebrating the first birthday of our retirement living development, and all our homeowners are over 60. Anna thoughtfully created a playlist tailored to suit their age range, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Our homeowners were so impressed — they absolutely loved Anna, and so did I! Her beautiful voice and lovely personality truly made our party extra special. Thank you, Anna, for stepping in at short notice, being so accommodating, and giving us such a fantastic evening. We’re already looking forward to hosting more events so we can have you back again!"

"We were lucky enough to be able to book Lost in the Groove for our summer festival style wedding and they were absolutely brilliant. The dance floor was rammed from beginning to end of their set. Can't recommend them enough...they totally got the party started!! Big thanks to Grace, Rob and the band, you were freakin' awesome and we can't wait to come see you play again hopefully soon."

"On December 1st 2018 our daughter Kerry married her partner Clare at the Milky Way Wedding Barn. The previous year we attended a Wedding Fayre where we spotted Tim playing the saxaphone and we promptly booked him to play at their wedding. The girls didn’t have any particular thoughts on what music they wanted at the time and Tim was extremely helpful with suitable suggestions especially the classical pieces. Tim patiently awaited their choices and didn’t even blink an eye when bizarrely one of the songs they asked him to play afterwards for fun was the Benny Hill theme tune !! This went down very well indeed with all. I suppose a saxaphone isnt the usual choice for wedding music but I have say it was perfect. It sounded mellow and smooth during the little ceremony and upbeat and fun for the champagne reception afterwards. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Tim again and I hope we have the opportunity to do so at some point. We had lots of feedback from our guests wondering where we found Tim and all thoroughly enjoyed listening to him and I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a few bookings from our part of Devon in the future. "We had Paula to sing at my Mum’s 80th birthday party, this was a surprise present from all the family. Paula sang my Mum’s favourite songs from the 1940’s, which I was able to choose and she sang them in 3 sets throughout the evening. Paula looked very professional with hair, make up, clothes from the era and even a vintage 1940’s microphone to complete the look. Paula kept me informed of everything prior to the evening so it all went smoothly on the night. Paula chatted to my Mum and other guests throughout the evening, which was lovely. My Mum absolutely loved it and I can honestly say it really made her birthday celebrations special. So in a nut shell - great voice - great personality- great time had by all, cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you Paula "
