Review Centre: Jewish / Klezmer Bands

"Wow! The Groove Ambassadors are just exceptional in every way (including vocals, instrumentals and professionalism). The band played at our wedding recently and they went above and beyond to ensure the dance floor was constantly full, and fun, and that the guests were fully engaged. We had the three piece plan an acoustic set during cocktails/canapes and the eight piece during the evening reception. In both settings they really brought such presence and energy, setting the correct tone in each environment. I can honestly say that choosing The London Soul Band to play at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made and I take it as a great compliment that we already have guests enquiring about the band's details to play at their own events! Extremely grateful for everything the band did, both on the day, in communications leading up to the day and in follow-up conversations afterwards. 10/10 from start to finish - thank you, the best! :D"

"What can I say? The Tribe ROCKED our wedding on Sat! They were absolutely brilliant and made the party so much fun. I hope they enjoyed it too. We had a magical day and it was such a fun wedding. So a huge thank you to you and the guys for everything. Two great friends of mine, Catherine and Dom, get married in April next year and are desperate to have the same band as they thought they were so fab. "Brilliant band and 100% recommend!!! We had them for our wedding in Somerset. Great communication, played all of the type of music we requested, they got everyone up dancing (and laughing with their sense of humour) and it was all done in a professional way. "What can we say. Faultless, amazing, professional, exciting. From the moment we met you for coffee last year we knew all was going to be great. You were as excited as Gerald and I as we discussed Amy and Pauls ideas. Of course once we saw you and the team perform at the showcase event we were even more convinced because you could provide all the different kinds of music we were wanting for the wedding. Such a variety, each section adding another twist, each one a talking point. Sera, when you sang during the ceremony, both Gerald and I had tears in our eyes, your most beautiful voice, unforgettable, one of the highlights of the whole day for us. Please pass on our thanks to each and every one of the team, and we wish all of you well in the future. Hopefully, we will see you again sometime."

"We hired Anna for our son's barmitzvah. The children gave her a few requests and we asked that she played the Israeli dancing section as well. She really made our party exactly what we were hoping for and she even invited our daughter to sing with her a few times as we told her that she loves singing. Thank you so much for making our party so special, Anna. You were perfect! We'll be booking you again for our daughter's batmitzvah in a few years' time!"

"We saw the band as part of the Crystal Palace Overground Festival. The band lit the space up which considering considerable contingent who were only in pub for the soccer was no mean achievement. The set was party friendly and resulted in some very pissed elegant dancing and boisterous enjoyment. The musicianship was of a very high standard and this combined with an obvious love for their material and a familiarity with each other and said material made it a stimulating, life affirming and emotional experience. The music is traditional Klezmer and includes references to balkan music and is lively picking you up and laying you low with melancholy and vigorous celebration."

"The band were not only incredibly talented but they also went out of their way to bring a party vibe to our 1920s wedding, making sure all our guests were having a fantastic time! The dance floor was packed throughout and their special requests songs meant so much to us as the bride and groom. We couldn't have asked for better entertainment. Thank you to The Chandeliers, we would book again and definitely recommend to others! "

"Candy Sunday were absolutely fabulous - incredibly friendly and easy-going, they mixed with the guests during the event and their performances were amazing - Maria has an incredible voice and from the moment they started their sets to when they finished the dance floor was packed. The band were a key part of the evening and I have received so many compliments from guests that thought they were amazing!"
