"One of the finest klezmer ensembles on the planet" (The Australian), Oy Vey! has been twice-nominated for best band in the Songlines World Music Awards and are winners of the Netherlands’ International Jewish music competition. The band is being described as “sophisticated, multi-lingual and where klezmer music in Britain should be headed for right now” (fROOTS).

The band formed in 2001 playing klezmer music, the instrumental Jewish wedding music of Eastern Europe. They have performed at hundreds of Jewish weddings and Bat/Barmitzvahs and have a reputation as “leaders in their genre” (The Jewish Music Institute).

As a flexible line-up of 3-7 musicians, plus optional dance caller, Oy Vey! can perform for every aspect of your celebration; for the ceremony, for dancing, for a great party atmosphere, amplified or unplugged. It’s your big day, so just ask!
