"We couldn't have asked for more! We hired Swing Gitan for a black tie function last night, and they acted professionally and autonomously throughout the evening. They suited the mood perfectly, with people up and dancing, and plenty sitting around just enjoying listening to them jam. Again, thank you so much, you guys completed the evening. "Hi Aly, A very big thank you for last night - once again, you played an enormous part in making it a much enjoyed evening and, therefore, a resounding success. We had a mix of parents with some who had been last year who, rather than arriving with trepidation, had come along knowing that there were in for a good time, plus some who had heard it was a good event and were keen to get involved. "Swinging like a barn door in a Texas breeze, the album shows the tightness of a band that have spent many years on the road. An established favourite on the jazz and nostalgia circuit, this well respected and popular five piece have evolved a contemporary style from a mash up of genres from the early 20th century...Cool jazz guitar, bass driven swing, excellent dobro, evocative harmonica and smokey vocal tones, velvet dipped in bourbon. Material is varied and well chosen, a souvenir from stage from one of the best live jazz-lite bands on the circuit."

"Brass Junkies played at our wedding and were more than we could have hoped for. The amount of people that commented on just how good the band was, both on the evening itself and for weeks after, was quite something! We really can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and their help, through the madness of organising a wedding I felt the band were the one thing I wasn’t worried about and I really appreciated it. "Hi Aly, Just wanted to email to say what an amazing night we had at our wedding ceilidh. Everyone commented on what a fantastic, fun night they had. We knew it would get people up dancing but we couldn't believe how full the dance floor was! From people who had never been to a ceilidh, to our Scottish friends, everyone had the time of their lives! Thank you again, and also thank you for allowing us to use your PA system and lights. This worked perfectly for the disco after the ceilidh! We will definitely recommend you to anyone considering a ceilidh. We wish we could do it all again. Thanks, Steve & Sarah"

"Thank you all so much for your amazing performance on Saturday evening, which was everything I could have hoped for! Your music was brilliant, got everyone up dancing and I can’t tell you how many people told me afterwards 'how brilliant the 1920s band were’. As soon as you played your first song I knew we’d struck gold! It couldn’t have been more perfect given the whole Gatsby theme and everyone so dressed up, so thank you all so much. You may be interested to know that we raised an astonishing £7,000 on the night! With just 96 people in the room…amazing! Thanks again Matthew and I'll not hesitate to recommend you if anyone should ask me for a fabulous 20’s Jazz Band!"
