"The band played for my daughter's 30th which was all organised by her, including the hiring of the band. We had no idea what to expect and were hugely delighted by their ability to quickly gauge the style of the party and were more than accommodating in their repertoire, even playing for members of the party to sing with them. First class professional playing, and played with evident enjoyment in a relaxed upbeat style. A most wonderful evening, thanks largely to this band."

"Superb musicians! Very atmospheric music which is great as background music but equally (in our case) suited to getting everyone whirling around on the dance floor with fast paced gypsy jazz numbers! Really made my party go with a swing and I can't recommend these guys highly enough. Thank you so much."

"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening. "I booked Lucinda for a surprise 60th wedding anniversary gift for two opera connoisseurs at their home. I didn’t know if it would work but I had faith in Lucinda from the outset. Not only does she have an impressive CV and extensive plaudits, she is so professional. Firstly, Lucinda is very passionate - it shows in her superlative organisation, she sought a clear brief and was extremely responsive with communication throughout the booking (which she accepted and confirmed within 2 hours. For Lucinda the ‘customer is king’ insofar as she is very client-focused, openly explained the logistics from her self-sufficiency with audio technology & choice of arias for the performance, and the right presentation and make up for the event. Everything with Lucinda was seamless, engendering my utter trust in her competence and ability. The recipients of this surprise were cagily forewarned by me of a ‘delivery’ which may cause a temporary noise disruption for neighbours. The rest (they say) is history - metaphorically Lucinda’s performance brought the house down! My friends loved their surprise gift, the neighbours enjoyed it too, and apparently a passer-by in a car was so mesmerised he ‘followed the music’ like a Homeric sailor following the song a siren, and invited to stay for the rest of Lucinda’s set. He too was very impressed. Nor did Lucinda dash away after performing, rather she stayed and swapped stories with the happy couple of the opera world. Thank you Lucinda for translating my moment of inspiration (and mischievousness 😉) to life for two very dear friends on their 60th wedding anniversary. 🙏🏽 As lifelong opera fans with experience on the global opera circuit they don’t hand out praise liberally when it comes to opera singers but said “Lucinda’s performance was great”, that she is “extremely talented” and that they and their neighbours were “utterly delighted” by her. It is an understatement to say this was a job well done. Lucinda has given my friends a personalised performance and a marvellous memory of a lifetime together, with her operatic songlist. In achieving the desired note, Lucinda delivered drama, hope, and passion - the stuff of their life together. In doing so she delivered a top quality performance that was well beyond good value - it is priceless. I cannot recommend Lucinda more highly - she has trained in the most prestigious academies, and it shows. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and anyone who does can be confident of an outstanding outcome. "

"Hired a jazz trio with Dan for my wedding - which was themed around an outdoor garden party. Dan was fantastic at keeping in touch and booking couldn't have been easier. The guys were there and ready for when they said they would be, and they were absolutely brilliant! Provided the perfect backdrop to our event, excellent musicians too. I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys, and should I have any events in future that would suit some smooth jazz then these guys would be top of the list!"

"We got married on 6th August 2011 and Rachel sang 3 songs at our church service. Rachel was fantastic and brought tears to my eyes as she sang Ave Maria as I walked down the aisle with my dad. Rachel was really flexible with song choices and filled us with confidence in the run up to the wedding with lots of contact prior to the day. I would highly recommend Rachel as she is an excellent singer, she is very friendly and professional and puts you at ease. Everybody said how great she was! Gaby & Richard Hussey, Read,Lancs. "
