"Just wanted to thank the Black Velvet Band for a really great evening last Saturday. They were excellent musicians and the caller was superb (very patient with the Danish contingent who took some time to get the hang of the instructions!) What I particularly appreciate is how considerate and adaptable the band was regarding my wishes. I had lovely time and have had a lot of positive comments from my guests."

"What. A. Band. Amidst our hours of research for a wedding band, we came across the Band Boutique's website and in turn found Rafiki. I knew when I heard the Britney Spears cover that you were going to be our wedding band! Not only are Rafiki the slickest band I've heard at a wedding, but you made our wedding so much fun and personal. Mike and I thank you so much - you gave us the most incredibly fun and energetic evening to our wedding, our guests cannot stop talking about the music! The choices of songs were just perfect and your rendition of our first dance just made it for us. Thank you for making our night! And thank you to band manager, Ollie, for a seamless experience behind the scenes - you were ace!"

"I cannot recommend the band enough - they are nothing short of brilliant! I booked the band for a works Christmas Party and I've had endless positive feedback about how much everyone enjoyed it and that the band made the night really special. There was something for everyone, from the set list to the Ibiza style sax and percussion set - you will not be disappointed. "Madhu was so prompt at responding and really went above and beyond in service. During our welcome drinks, Madhu was in the crowd dancing and playing with guests which was so lovely to see! Guests really enjoyed themselves and so did we! We cannot thank you enough."
