Review Centre: 90s, 00s & Modern Style Bands

"Kaleidoscope played an amazing 80s themed set for my 30th birthday. Louise communicated brilliantly and was in touch immediately after booking. She could not have been more considerate, particularly around timings and set up. They were completely punctual and flawlessly well organised and got themselves set up with minimum fuss. On the night when things were running slightly late they could not have been more understanding or accommodating. They even let my parents use their PA system for speeches. Anyway, onto the music. The band played BRILLIANTLY, they got everyone onto the dance floor and the lights (which they bring with them) are also fab. The demo videos do not do them justice, they were fantastic. All in all they made the night for me and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a party band. Thank you Kaleidoscope! "

"We booked The Cheers for our wedding and they were awesome!! So many guests commented on how good the band was and we had a full dance floor throughout both sets. The lead singer was fabulous! Ben, the manager, was a delight to work with. Absolutely professional and very organised which meant they could set up easily and we could get on with everything else whilst they did so. They allowed us to generate a bespoke playlist from their repertoire and even learned a new song for our first dance. Couldn’t recommend The Cheers enough and would definitely use them again."

"Whisky & Ginger were absolutely fantastic. From the very first email they were professional, helpful, flexible and enthusiastic. They were presented beautifully and the music was just amazing! So so so worth the money. Anyone contemplating booking should DO IT DO IT DO IT!"

"So glad we booked this band – May 2023! They were great to deal with in advance and even learned a new song for us for our first dance. On the night they were so professional and just made the whole evening. We had so many compliments about them! They really know how to get everyone going and let their hair down."

"Jimmy was amazing! He was super friendly and really accommodating. We were quite specific with the songs we wanted him to play but he was happy to be flexible. We really appreciated the call from Jimmy a couple of weeks before the wedding, on the day he was organised and everything ran on time. The music was great and he did a fantastic job! "We booked Dorian Sax for our wedding and we had so much positive feedback from our guests. He contacted us before the wedding and we discussed music to be played. We really wanted to create an unforgettable party and Dorian did just that. The dance floor was never empty and his playlist was exactly what we requested. I would highly recommend Dorian Sax as his communication was great prior to the event, he was punctual arriving at the venue on time, and he gave an unforgettable performance on his Saxophone. "

"I recently had Absolute Company play at my wedding, what a wonderful experience. The floor didn't empty from the start of the night to the finish. No request was too big, we had asked they join in part way through our first dance song, which they agreed to do and it made the occasion all that more special, the floor was filled within moments. As with most weddings our schedule was over running, the band fit in with us every step of the way, they were polite, professional and friendly, it was an absolute pleasure to have them part of our special day. All of our guests commented on how great it was to have a live band. If you are thinking of a live band for your next event I can highly recommend Absolute Company."

"I recently had the pleasure of seeing the Revolve Party Band perform live in Stony Stratford, and I must say, they were absolutely amazing. The band's repertoire included a diverse selection of hits from various eras and genres, and the singers were engaging and talented. One of the things that really stood out to me was the level of talent displayed by each member of the band. The vocalists had excellent range and control, while the instrumentalists were skilled and versatile. The band as a whole had great chemistry and their energy was infectious. Another highlight of the performance was the variety of songs that the band played. They had something for everyone, including classic hits and more contemporary songs. The singers were able to connect with the audience and get everyone singing and dancing along. Overall, the Revolve Party Band put on an outstanding show that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great night out. Their talent, energy, and engaging performance style make them a must-see act."

"I booked TIDE for a joint 50th and 21st birthday party and must say they were absolutely fantastic. They were extremely professional and very helpful through out the night, nothing was too much trouble. One of the reasons I choose them was their varied play list, which was great for us, as they have a big selection of songs to cover everybody's taste young and old. Over the course of the evening lots of people commented how good the band were and asked where did I find them. You can't beat a really good band as entertainment for a special occasion and I would certainly recommend TIDE. "
