He cared that he was playing what we wanted and moved so we could enjoy his playing before and during the meal and beyond. His attention to detail was faultless as was his personality. "My wife and I had TIDE play at our wedding at Notley Abbey a few weeks ago and they were amazing! They ensured their setting up and sound checks worked around our schedule and prior to the big day were really pro-active in getting in contact with us to make sure everything was in place. On the day we had them play 3 x 40 minute sets with DJ'ing in between - and what a difference the live band had on our night! For every second they played we had a packed dance floor which is exactly what we were hoping for. Great songs, super energy, an amazing performance and we can't thank them enough for playing a few extras at the end of the night to the baying crowd who could have been there for hours more! Thanks again guys for making our wedding so memorable. "

"I just wanted to take this moment to thank you for being such an important part in our wedding. From the start of our planning we both agreed that we needed to lind an amazing band for our reception and you guys blew it out the park! What a talented group you are, absolutely amazing! The dance floor was never empty and our guests kept commenting on how amazing you were. From our first dance, the request of the slosh to the amazing sax performance you guys outdid yourself. "I was struggling to find a string quartet for our wedding in Oxfordshire that were in budget and played the style of music that we wanted. I was relieved when Liz from the 440 Quartet got back to me to say they were available and were happy to travel from Birmingham to Oxfordshire to play at our wedding. Liz went above and beyond to help us get our playlist just right learning new songs that they didn’t have in their repertoire. They played every song to perfection on the day and everyone really enjoyed listening to them throughout the ceremony and drinks reception. The mix of songs they played around our playlist worked perfectly. Thank you Liz for being so helpful and accommodating, we really appreciate it as it took so much stress out of the process for us. I cannot recommend The 440 String Quartet highly enough for any wedding or event. "

"The Session Band were absolutely incredible at our wedding! We had Ceri and Cam play acoustic guitars during the ceremony and the full band in the evening, and what a party it was! We sang, we danced, we laughed, we loved this band! Every member is so talented and brought such amazing energy and fun, which really added to our celebrations! Thank you for giving our day that extra sparkle, you are all truly amazing people!"

"Booked these guys for our Wedding. They were excellent! They have a brilliant, varied set list to suit all ears but were also very accommodating with playing some particular requests and most importantly they got involved with the crowd and had everyone on the dancefloor. Honestly could not recommend them enough."

"We hired Funky Friday to play at our Enterprise Awards Evening, the band played whilst guests arrived, over lunch and at the end of the event.The music was exceptional and the band catered for exactly what we wanted, they were friendly and very well organised.I would recommend Funky Friday for any other corporate event."

"Incredible band! We had the 8-piece play at our wedding recently and they absolutely made our day. The dance floor was completely packed from first dance to last and we've lost count of how many of our guests have raved to us about them since. They were all both super talented musicians and brilliant performers - the horn section wandering into the dance floor went down a storm each time they did it. Every song they played was a banger and there was something in their set for everyone. Mark is a lovely guy and was super responsive and professional throughout, constantly going above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. On the day, everything from their side went exactly as planned and they took our delayed timings completely in their stride. We cannot recommend them highly enough!"

"My husband and I had a joint birthday tea dance last week at the Grimsdyke Hotel. Sheldon provided fabulous jazz and soft music on guitar and keyboard during the tea. After this he became our DJ and had everybody up and dancing for 2 hours! I have had so many wonderful comments from my friends and family all citing the great job Sheldon did. I would not hesitate to have Sheldon supply the music for any parties or functions we have in the future."
