"Nigel played during the ceremony, the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast. As a COVID wedding we were trying to make the day memorable for the right reasons and Nigel helped us to achieve that by playing a beautiful chilled selection of songs. As it was a December wedding he played a lovely selection of Christmas songs. We are so happy we picked Nigel to be a part of our day and would highly recommend this to anyone. "

"Dan was absolutely amazing. He was flexible, funny and super professional. He has an amazing voice and his choice of songs was perfect. The guests have not stopped talking about Dan - we had 5 different things going on that day and they have all said Dan`s gig was the best and the favourite. I cannot recommend Dan enough, I would say he could charge more for the service he provides and the quality of his music and you can see how much he loves what he does when he is singer - I just wished we had had him all day! If I ever need a singer for any other celebration I will be reaching out to Dan again :)"

"So pleased that Des agreed to provide the entertainment for our garden party ! I had seen him playing before but my friends ,who did not know about the surprise, hadn’t but I knew they would enjoy his unique playing style and his affable personality! Des liaised with me about the type of songs he should play for the people attending which made me feel confident in the choices made . It was great when he arrived as everybody was so surprised and he was so friendly and sociable chatting with the guests whilst setting up to play . Des’s style and twist on familiar songs both old and modern engaged everyone ! They went from singing along to getting up and dancing . He even played a special request of Lady in Red for my friend which meant a lot to her. Des is such a kind, genuine and very talented guy and my friends were really impressed! Here’s to next time ! "Laura Moon was amazing, a massive hit with our hen party. She has a great song list, full of singalong classics, which is exactly what we were after! She also very kindly learnt a song that we requested which has a special meaning for our bride. Jade is super talented and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. Thank you Laura Moon! "

"James was the perfect choice for our wedding from the beginning, he was nothing but helpful and accommodating!! Nothing was too much trouble for him!! His talent is incredible, I can't believe he hasn't got a record deal yet... But I'm watching this space! I had so many comments about how superb the music was, it suited everyone as people could dance, but also guests could still talk to one another!! He was such a lovely chap, he fitted in as though he was a guest at the party! Cannot recommend him highly enough....to be honest I'm trying to think of another reason I can have a get together just to hear/hire him again!!! Thanks James you were smashing!!!!"

"When we decided to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary by holding a party in the village hall you were the first person we thought of for the music. The first time you performed for us 10 years ago you delivered a great set playing in what 24 hours earlier had been a cattle shed. We had to wash down the walls and scrub the floor but you were not put out by the surrounds. Those lucky enough to have been in the cow shed still talk with enthusiasm about the performance. So come the night of the anniversary party it was pleasing to find out that the passing of time had not dented any of your skills. We look forward to finding an excuse for a third event when you can travel up the M5 to entertain us. Thank you so much."

"Absolutely first-class. Warwickshire Strings arrived well ahead of the intended start time. They were very nice people, all well presented and very polite. Their music was excellent and much appreciated by all at the event. They made a great birthday celebration even better. I would strongly recommend them and will be more than happy to ask them back to the next event I have to arrange. "

"My husband Phil and I chose Morven to play at our small, intimate family wedding at Letham House in Haddington. We were particularly drawn to Morven as we loved the fact that she composed her own material and played traditional Scottish music with a contemporary approach. It turned out that Morven was the perfect choice and her beautiful playing was the perfect accompaniment to our special day. I walked down the aisle to ‘Marry me now’ and when we were signing the register Morven played ‘Elements One’ from her new album ‘Driftwood Harp’ which she composed herself. To celebrate our marriage it was ‘The Flowers of Edinburgh’ – our hometown. Morven then provided great music for the rest of the afternoon as we all relaxed and enjoyed a glorious afternoon in the lovely gardens of Letham House. Morven blended in seamlessly with the ceremony and everyone enjoyed her playing and her company. The sound of the Clarsach played by someone as gifted as Morven was a beautiful addition to our wedding."
