"This band is a class act. Joanne has an unique voice that if heard once, you will instantly recognise. She has a great range and sometimes sings in an operatic tone too. Her husband James is a great guitarist and singer too. They compliment each other and are fun to watch. You will not be disappointed."

"Wow! We booked Unwritten Duo for my dad's 80th Birthday party and they were absolutely incredible from start to finish. We requested several songs which they learned for my dad as a surprise. They spoke with us beforehand to make sure their set lists and the DJ music would be to everyone's taste and were happy to take requests on the night from guests. They were both highly professional, mega talented and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be booking them for future family gatherings. 10/10"

Every single guest and supplier we hired came up to us at some point in the day to tell us how amazing you were playing. You are incredibly talented and made the atmosphere so romantic. Our first dance song that you played for us will stick with us forever and we are so grateful that you were able to pull another lovely song out for us on the spot so we could do a dance with our mother's. "Joanne sang at my wedding and was just wonderful. She has a beautiful voice and we felt so lucky to have her come and sing during our service. So many of our guests commented on just how beautiful her singing was. We couldn't recommend Joanne highly enough. She was also very professional, responsive and kind and a pleasure to deal with. "

"I’d recommend Ian without hesitation. Not only is he a huge talent with a fine repertoire, he is a genuinely good guy who was friendly and communicative during the build-up to my wedding. On the day itself, he went above and beyond what I’d expect from a performer by allowing my son (a beginner on guitar) to play along to one of his songs. Ian is a top talent and a top man. "
