"Just a quick note to thank you again for a fabulous performance on Saturday. The surprise element worked out really well and all our guests were still talking about you in the taxi on the way home. "Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"Joe performed an acoustic set during the welcome drinks at our wedding on 1st June and it was perfect to avoid any pre dinner lull. Our guests (and of course us!) all loved him and we have heard nothing but rave reviews and compliments. Joe’s voice is honestly amazing and his performance was completely flawless! "As our wedding was greatly effected due to C19 restrictions and all our guests were so looking forward to the day we were looking for something a little different. At very short notice we found "Devon Strings" which proved to be the best choice we could have made. Communication was clear, prompt and really efficient, individual music choices accommodated all in the most professional manner. On arrival the quartet were absolutely brilliant, went through last minute details and the wedding began. Words really do seem inadequate to describe the brilliant standard of performance, professionalism and versatility of the quartet, and the great pleasure their music gave to everyone present, they turned our wedding day into an unforgettable day for all. Exceptional. Would highly recommend to all Thank you so much"

"We booked Chris for our wedding entertainment on a whim after hearing him at a local wedding fair and struck gold. He was so easy to communicate with and needed minimal direction before, and on the big day. He arrived on time, had set up, and was already playing by the time we arrived back to the venue after taking some pictures - exactly what you want on such a busy day. Chris' blend of relaxed indie guitar was the perfect background music to our laid-back wedding, our guests were complimenting him all night! We even paid extra for Chris to stay an another hour, it was going so well, we didn't him to stop (we are very grateful to him for being such a good sport - especially with the impromptu karaoke) He is an extremely talented singer, and we are over the moon with his professionalism and performance."

"We just wanted to very belatedly get in touch to say a huge thank you to you and Dorchester Strings for your beautiful performances for our wedding on 7 May. We had so many compliments on the day and since, including about at what a difference it made to the atmosphere. Everyone loved the ceremony music (even if it made so many of us cry!) and the impact on the drinks reception was just wonderful. We hope you could hear everyone up top clapping as you finished! The music choices got referenced by the best man during the speech later and you got a cheer in absentia. Our sincere thanks for such a beautiful, skilled addition to our celebration."

"Dave was very good able to judge the audience style of music and change accordingly. We also had a few people who wanted to sing and he accommodated them, even gave one person his guitar to use. Highly recommend Dave. "

"Absolutely fantastic, very polite and professional, more than happy to play requests, even let my mum (the bride) have a little go on the drums which made her day as all she ever wanted was a steel band at her wedding. Highly recommended"
