"Had Christopher sing at my grandsons christening yesterday, our singer we booked was ill so he was recommended, was all last minute but we were not disappointed, he was brilliant, really got the party going, great singer & guitarist & he actually sang for a full 90 minutes as we were short on time, would highly recommend, I will definitely be booking him again."

"What a truly fabulous man and service, from the enquiry to the event itself, John was courteous, sensitive and accommodating helping us celebrate our beautiful dad's life in a way he would most certainly have wanted. Nothing was too much trouble, he had every possible song we asked for across 7 decades and his lovely voice was an unexpected bonus. We cannot recommend John enough and will most certainly book him, hopefully for a more joyous occasion. Thanks John you are a blessing x""

"I would like to thank you on behalf of Jenny and I for your absolutely wonderful performance at our wedding on Saturday! It is something that we will never forget and many of our guests were completely taken away by how great you were, there were a lot of tears and emotion during the songs, great choices by the way! The children adored the Frozen section. Also, do you have a Facebook page for us to "like"? I know a lot of the guests are interested in your work and would like to follow your career! "The Velvet Tones play at our restaurant regularly. The reviews we’ve had on Google about their performances have been amazing and ticket sales for our music nights are always a sell-out! We go for the trio because we don’t have space for drums and it’s perfect because we can keep the sound to a better level so people can enjoy the music without having to shout over it to speak at dinner. Great band!"

"We had an absolutely brilliant day at our wedding and Nick just topped it off in the evening with his music and great voice! We have had lot of compliments from guests talking about how good he was.
