"Thanks for your email and I just wanted to reply on behalf of the whole team to say thank you for your help in making the arrangements for Rory and the band to be with us for our event. Our feedback is hugely positive - Rory arrived in plenty of time and liaised with us about the best place to get set up. The music was fabulous and exactly what we were hoping for in terms of providing a relaxed atmosphere for guests. We received lots of positive feedback about the whole reception on the lawn, including the music, so thanks to Rory and the band for their contribution to our event's success. "The band played for my 50th and made us all feel part of a truly fantastic musical experience. They are brilliant! The lead singer worked so well with the audience and even let a family member get up and sing! We felt they were part of our party and brought heart and soul to the table. They had a underground dance feel and we couldn’t believe we actually had some of our favourite songs played by the original artists. They were so understated and nice - it was only after they finished that we found out who they were. (-:"

"If you want a band that deliver a great night of music and fantastic sound then this is the band for you. From booking, to the party great communication with a very attentive approach. "We booked Straight Up for our wedding in April 2024, and they were absolutely amazing! We were slightly hesitant as we only had the promo video on the website to go off, but the band were even better in person. We loved that they had an extensive list of songs on their repertoire, and they happily played all 32 songs that we requested from that list! Communication prior to the wedding was clear, and the booking process was really easy. The band ensured that the dancefloor was full throughout the night, and we had such great feedback from all of our guests. They even learnt a 'last song' for us rather than a first dance, which was an amazing way to end the night. "

"Rory's relaxed, smooth sound was perfect for our garden party and I received many complimentary comments from our guests on his behalf. He is a talented musician and was very professional but also approachable and friendly. I would certainly recommend him."
