Review Centre: Wedding Ceremony Musicians

"I have booked Jodie as a female DJ for a corporate networking event in Paris, France back in June 2019. I only have excellent words for her. She was really quick to get back to me on her availability and all technical question I might have had at the time. She is really professional and talented, she ensured prior to the event to understand what was required from her, what was the demographic, the event about, the technical set up, etc. Travel and accommodation were booked for her and she arrived early at the venue to meet the technical team, set up, and was ready to perform as per contract. She presents very well and was very flexible on-site to ensure any last-minute changes and request were met. I highly recommend her! She is well travelled and has a lovely personality. I also know she can sing (beautiful voice) and has a Chinese repertoire which is brilliant! She also graciously did an announcement to call to an end as the venue had to close at the end of our event. Guests were coming to her to take pictures with her and her references for future events! Jodie was a great asset to the event and my end client was extremely pleased with her DJ skill and level of professionalism. It certainly went down well, so much so that my client is now asking if we can rebook her again this year."

"Sarah's performance was arranged as a surprise for an elderly friend of mine, Graham M, who loves music/carols but is no longer sufficiently mobile to be able to get to a church service. Graham also has issues with his eye sight which means that he cannot really watch TV etc any more so he spends his days listening to classical music. On the arranged Sunday night in December, Sarah arrived punctually and sang the first carol from the garden. Graham was immediately enraptured by her beautiful voice. As it was rather chilly, Sarah then came inside and continued her selection of songs to her audience of 3! She controlled her voice beautifully to suit the surroundings and Graham was clearly transported back to his past Christmases as he closed his eyes and mimed along - not wanting to spoil Sarah's singing :o) Sarah was so kind and caring with Graham and happily chatted with him about her training, career, etc. We were all very emotional at the impact Sarah's performance had on Graham - it was definitely the best Christmas surprise I have ever organised & the 3 of us will talk about it for years to come, I am sure. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah for such performances and will definitely call on her services again if/when the opportunity arises. Thank you so much, Sarah - you made an elderly gentleman, his daughter and friend very happy that night! "

"Dave played at our wedding reception a couple of weeks ago & he was amazing from start to finish. He started half way through our first dance & carried on throughout the night. Communication was really easy when booking & I would highly recommend Dave for any special occasion. Our guests are still telling us how amazing he was!"

"Dom played our wedding and we could not be happier with the beautiful soundtrack he played for our special day. Dom learnt the song we wanted for our walk-out song, especially for us and even gave 3 Lions a go on the day by request! We really couldn’t have asked for any more and all of our guests commented on what a beautiful addition having him play was. We couldn’t recommend him more highly. Thank you for sharing our day and making it even more perfect."

"Roman is a very accomplished piano player with an extensive repertoire. He set the mood really well for us at Guildford XRT's Christmas Dinner and quickly had the audience buzzing. He is a very personable character and extremely accommodating on timings and content. I would have no hesitation in recommending him - a superb performer. "

"Travessia were the perfect sound to our reception, and they were even able to play one of my favourite songs by Djavan. They were able to respond really well to the crowd too, I can’t wait to have another reason to hire them! We all had a great time dancing to them and the whole evening went perfectly."

" Myself and my (now) husband had the pleasure of James singing at our wedding. Being huge music enthusiasts, we really didn't want random music playing in the background - we knew we wanted a live performer - oh how James delivered! He entertained the guests up to me walking down the aisle, and sang the most beautiful version of our favourite song for the "aisle song". James then performed for us during the wedding breakfast. Honestly, every single guest commented on how amazing her was. Everyone thought he was fab and he really knew how to read the atmosphere. After the meal, my guests were singing along and clapping like lunatics. It was ace! Thanks so so much James - you were such a big part of our day!"

"Very happy with the overall communication before the event – easy to liaise with you and confirm requirements, timings etc. You arrived early which was great to help get everything set up in time for the evening. The music itself was great and we had plenty of comments from people to say how much they enjoyed it – you played exactly the kind of music we were after and really felt the vibe of the room. You adapted to when we needed specific breaks during the meal for awards and was always a really smooth transition. Overall we were extremely happy with the service you offered and the performance in general. Would definitely repeat book if we had another similar need/event!"
