"Dear Tom, We would like to express our gratitude and thanks to you for your fantastic performance at both our wedding ceremony and drinks reception. Your music helped to dissolve any awkward silences between our guests, many of whom and never met. It was a wonderful backdrop that helped to create an enjoyable, relaxed ambiance. We heard that there was adlibbing with some “classical” requests, i.e. teenage mutant ninja turtles, which went down a storm and helped make the day the fantastic occasion it was. I wish we could have been there to hear them! Thank you so very much for making our very special day so much more special. Very best wishes, Andy & Kelly Richardson "

"This was a booking for a house party (70th) with various ages attending. Once booked, I received regular updates, with no problems at all, very smooth. Stuart arrived in plenty of time to set up and took time to speak with the birthday boy & guests. A couple of requests were asked for of Elvis if possible (during the booking) & Stuart added a few to his set - perfectly done. All music was in keeping with the atmosphere, with Stuarts own spin, flawlessly done. All in all, great accoustic set, which was loved by all guests. Would not hesitate to book again. "

"Robin came to play at my wife's 50th party. He was so amazing and really became part of the whole event. Our friends and family ranged from 10 upwards and his music appealed to all. His voice is beautiful and he plays both accoustic and electric guitar with ease. Robin worked on specific requests and my son and I did a song with him for my lovely wife Jo. I think Robin really engaged with all the superb people at the party...he kept on playing and did requests. So warm, sincere and polite. Everybody loved him. We would ask him to perform again without hesitation. Thanks Robin. We love youx "

"Annie Jo was great at our yearly christmas function in our villages community centre. She sounded lovely with a great variety of music and also had a good sense of humour and also handled our locals well after they’d all had a few too many red wines! She had tambourines available so we could join in and even let us sing with her for some songs with another microphone if anyone wishes. Really wnjoyed ourselves thanks again - John "

"IT WAS billed as A Night At The Musicals, and it was certainly a title which attracted a packed house to the Howden Park Centre last Friday evening when Darren Shaw and three dancers took the stage and sang and danced their hearts out. Two for the price of one took on a whole new meaning in this show in which we, the audience, were encouraged to join in with some of the well known songs. If you looked around, all you could see was a sea of smiling faces having a great time reminiscing and sharing some of their favourite moments from the musicals. This was courtesy of one very talented young man sporting a George Clooney haircut and diamond earring, some nifty costume changes, an incredible voice range and an endearing smile. Using a variety of spectacular, if sometimes dazzling lighting effects, and the obligatory dry ice creating an atmosphere that makes the singer appear suspended in clouds, the show began with a spotlight into which sauntered Mr Shaw in top hat and tails singing On The Street Where You Live, from My Fair Lady. Once again the excellent acoustics of the Brian Duguid Theatre played host to emotive, full orchestral music courtesy of impeccably timed tapes. Maybe it was just a shade loud in the first half which saw something very unusual and totally original. Everyone is familiar with The Sound of Music and the recent Connie Fisher version of The Hills are alive. Enter Darren Shaw looking splendid in lederhosen, like a denizen of Austria and straight from the Alps. To everyone's amazement and some barely concealed audience mirth, he became a soprano and made the hills come alive in his own special way. As the show progressed, the format of two songs by Mr Shaw interspersed with dance routines by the hardworking dancers began to win us over. For the first time ever, the famous duet from Grease, You're The One That I Want, was sung by Mr Shaw who performed the male and female parts. Using his falsetto voice – an attribute which was once taught in Italy in the middle ages resulting in the singers being known as castratto (please, don't ask) – Shaw sang the SuBo hit from Les Miserables as he duetted with himself in I Know Him So Well. In The Phantom of the Opera sequence he once again sang the famous duet which takes Christine, the soprano and The Phantom to perform, all by himself. As for the three dancers, two glamorous blondes and a bonny brunette, they proved their versatility by dancing a variety of styles from musical comedy to modern with a brave attempt at Irish River Dancing which drew cheers from the audience. The finale saw Shaw resplendent in a mint green sparkling shirt and matching flares with the dancers in glittering jump suits so there was no doubt that we would hear something from Mamma Mia and we certainly did. This night at the theatre was indeed a feast of tunes from the musicals which at first, thanks to Mr Shaw's dual voice, seemed a little hard to digest but soon became an acquired taste."

"Emma sang at our wedding in August. She sang two songs whilst we were signing the register. She was amazing, her voice is beautiful and all of our guests loved it, many of them commenting on how fantastic she was. "We booked Nick for an afternoon function and was everything we hoped for. Beautifully executed and every member was either up dancing or singing along with Nick. He read the age of the crowd and played the songs accordingly but even threw in some Tina Turner and Bruce Springsteen which I loved personally… thoroughly enjoyable and no hesitation at rebooking for our summer event "

"Meg was wonderful. She made everything so easy and straightforward to arrange up to the wedding day as well as on the day. So friendly and approachable I wouldn't hesitate to have her play at an event again. Her voice is beautiful and this was resonated throughout both sets she played (there were so many compliments from family and friends), especially with the songs we had picked to walk down the aisle and post-ceremony. Can't thank you enough!! "
