"Lewis and I just wanted to extend a huge thank you to you and the sound guy for such a great evening's entertainment. So many of our guests remarked on how well you interacted with the audience - wandering around the room and out on to the terrace when the dance floor was quiet... very unusual and worked wonderfully well. Also can you apologise to your sound guy as I believe my dad asked if he could stay on past 1 thinking he was a friend of ours as opposed to a supplier so sorry about that as I'm sure he'd had just about enough by 1am! "Nothing was too much trouble and the musicians were all fantastic. The dance floor was full all night and so many people have said to me that they loved the music and had never danced so much in a long time! I would absolutely recommend the BV's!"

"The perfect band for a party. Kemptown Hot Club performed at my leaving party at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge University, when I retired as President. I think almost every guest complimented me on the music. Beautiful vocals and a wonderful swing sound of the 1920s to 1940s. Kemptown Hot Club helped to create a relaxing vibe to the party while ensuring they never drowned out the conversation."

You have a unique style and were a real hit with everyone - friendly, professional, punctual and above all played absolutely great music with beautiful singing (in both Spanish and English to match our mix of guests)! "We as a family wanted to thank you both enormously for the very happy time that we had on the 12th January. Dad has been telling anyone who'll listen what a great time he had and how fantastic you were... and of course we agree with that 1000%. I think he's almost convinced himself by now that it really was a 'Surprise' party! We would love to have you come and play again for us another time - just need to find a small excuse now.... Very best wishes to you and Paul and thank you again for making Dad's special day so memorable (he says it's right up there with the birth of his children and getting married!) - I think the only thing that would have improved it was if we'd been able to hear you play for longer!!
