"Thank you so much for playing and yes it was lovely and we heard plenty being in the conservatory for photos. The weather was not good but at least we heard more of your music because of it! We had lots of compliments from our guest. Some loved playing ‘Guess the tune?’ and were impressed you knew so many songs without even any music sheets. "Michael Blanchfield is an exceptional pianist and musician who I’ve had the pleasure of working with on several occasions. As a session musician, he’s one of the best musicians I’ve worked with; for a recent recording session we recorded 22 songs in 3 days! He has a keen ear, and is able to pick up music quickly by ear or by following traditional notation or charts. He was able to work under pressure, respond well to instruction, but also brought his own creativity, compositional ideas and musical personality to the songs.
