"This was my first time using Chris and it was for a musical theatre production of 'Godspell' at the Hasland Theatre. Chris came recommended by a friend of mine (Adam Parrish) after he did the sound engineering for a concert Adam had recently done with Gordon Giltrap. Well what can I say - Chris did an amazing job! He came along for a preliminary meeting with me where we looked around the venue, talked about the requirements for the show which included a live 4 piece band and 10 wireless headset radio mics. Chris then gave a full explanation of what equipment he thought was required to make a great sound within the venue, how much time he would have to dedicate to the project and from that came up with a quote for us. We confirmed it all over email and then it was just a matter of waiting for show week to roll around. This came at the end of March and Chris arrived with all the equipment he needed and got set up ready to go. It was great that the equipment he had was all digital and took up a very small amount of space and that he was able to control it all from his iPad at the back of the theatre, since there was literally no room for him to be anywhere else. Several of the band members commented on how great it was that Chris asked them before every show about their individual monitor mixes, if anything needed changing, if Chris needed to be aware of any issues from previous nights etc and are still talking about it now as something like that which seems really obvious and simple makes a huge difference to those playing and performing. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris even when I had to ask for some additional monitors to be placed on the stage as the actors were struggling to hear the musicians he just turned up with speaker stands and monitors and got them plugged in and ready for the following nights performance. Amazing! It is also important to note Chris's attitude throughout the entire process. Putting on a musical is an exceedingly stressful thing to do and I was having to think about a lot of things throughout the run, but Chris remained calm, level-headed and had a very calming presence which was commented on by several cast members and others within the creative team, which is just what you want in a high stress environment. He was great to work with and lots of laughs were had throughout the week amongst the whole team who he worked well with. A very quick and speedy break down and get out on the Saturday night wrapped everything up nicely. Thanks so much for the time and effort you put into making our show sound amazing and we really cannot wait to be working with you again hopefully in the very near future."

"From the start to the finish Mastersax (Phil) was always beside us and wow, what a guy! What an outstanding DJ & Saxophonist! He made every moment of our magical day out of this world, was very supportive and always a phone call away. He did all of the work in the background with the venue so that we could relax and focus on other bits. His performance on our day was outstanding and he made the day. Our guests loved him and we'd definitely recommend him to anyone getting married, or just wanting a party! We loved how he would get out from behind the decks and get involved in the party and he always knew what the mood was like and adapted the music to this."

"The most incredible wedding band you could wish for! There are no words to describe how incredible Big Day Revolution were. They made my wedding dream of a karaoke hour come true, performed two amazing energetic band sets that had everyone on their feet, did a surprise DJ and sax section and then DJ until the end of the night. Communication was amazing from start to finish and they really did make our day so special. "

"We loved having Tim DJ at our wedding!!! He managed to create such an incredible vibe, and made sure that we had the best time on the dance floor! He has that amazing ability to read the room and play the music that everyone wanted to hear in that moment. He was also so helpful on the build up to the day too. " 5 hours ago John has done a few parties over the years for my family and even done my nana funeral and now just done my daughter 18th birthday Macara my daughter has learning disabilities and is not 18 in some aspects and we wanted something that was fun for her and some of her friends and John did just that played dance floor games winning prizes played music for all ages John such a good dj he gets everyone on the floor thanks again John Macara had the best night can’t Thankyou enough x "

"A whole new experience! Big Day Revolution made our Wedding Day a whole new experience! James from the band spoke to my wife and I a handful of times prior to the wedding day to discuss set lists, first dance and father and daughter dance as well as various bits and pieces. James was very polite and laid back which gave us assurance the performance was going to be perfect! James and the band arrived on time and set up without anyone knowing they were even there which was a great surprise for everyone. James and the band learnt our choice of song for our first dance and they made it a real special moment for my wife and I which we cannot thank them enough for. The two live sets and two DJ sets that were performed did not let anyone down the dance floor was packed all night and they knew how to party! Thank you very much to James and the band for making our day special."

"Perfect! Amazing service James was beyond reproach! From the initial telephone consultation, to the day itself there was nothing that was too much trouble for James. He took the time to help create the perfect music list, took requests, and made sure he adapted the playlist all night so that the dancefloor was always full. If I ever get married again, he will definitely be the DJ again!! haha"

"We just wanted to drop you a line today to tell you what a fantastic evening we had. Everything was perfect the whole way through and you were absolutely superb, and you had that place rocking! In fact lot's of people couldn't get off the dance floor to get a drink at the bar because he didn't stop playing great tunes! We were sorry he had to stop playing at the end as we could have gone on all night. Everyone said it was the best wedding disco they'd ever been to by far and I'd have to agree with that, we couldn't have asked for more. Best night of my life, many thanks for your important contribution. Needless to say I would recommend you to anyone and would happily use you again if I get the opportunity!"
