"Fantastic DJ! Read the room well and played some great tunes! Took requests in advance and on the night. Just great fun, interacting brilliantly with the crowd, even joining us on the dancefloor! "DJ Nostalgia was absolutely brilliant. From the start to the end, he had the dance floor full. I had a playlist of my favourites and he used that to find other songs, gauge people's interest and get everyone on their feet. I had so many compliments about the music. And a lot of girlfriends with sore feet the next day, from all the dancing in high heels! Simply the best night. Will definitely use again. Thank you 😊"

"I am a professional acoustic covers singer, regularly performing around the UK and have worked with countless other sound engineers in the past. Chris was conducting the sound at the Red Deer in Sheffield when I played there on 24th September, and I can vouch for his expert ability in providing a fantastic front-of-house mix and providing exactly the right monitoring that I desired. As well as possessing top notch gear, he clearly has in-depth knowledge and conducted himself with utmost professionalism. He is also a friendly and approachable person, and went above and beyond to make sure I received the recordings of the show that he had taken from the desk. Highly recommended for all your live sound needs :)"

"We booked Phil for our wedding as we didn't want a full band and oh my goodness - it was bloody spectacular! From start to finish, Phil was nothing short of exceptional. He listened to the type of music we wanted and curated a playlist just for us. We had a "dramatic entrance" to our wedding breakfast, which Phil led us into whilst playing sax, and it was SO FUN, all the guests commented on how cool and different it was. Phil ensured to play a variety of different music to entice people onto the dance floor, which allowed people of all ages to enjoy the party. We would absolutely recommend Phil to anyone looking to book something a bit different - you won't be disappointed!"

"I hired Chris on a recommendation by a friend. It was quite a task I set him but he rose to the challenge with aplomb..The concert required constantly changing sound requirements for a series of artists playing throughout the evening, ranging from solo singer/guitarist to 7 piece bands..Seamless changeovers!The venue was no picnic( acoustically speaking )but he got a great sound without blowing anyone’s ears out..Very attentive throughout the evening as well.In short I would recommend this outfit to anyone.Well done."

"Basement Hire have just supplied all the audio equipment for a second party for us and both times they have been faultless. Very efficient and helpful and completely reliable. Set-up and collection were done almost by stealth and, most importantly, the sound quality was ear-splittingly superb. Highly recommended."
