"Delighted by the service from James at Basement Hire. Wanted lights and sound for my wife's 60th birthday party in a local Tithe Barn and James sorted us out some brilliant kit and came and set up a splendid arrangement with the minimum of fuss and at a time to suit us. Ditto collection after the party. Very easy to deal with for pre order queries and advice and also kindly collected a mirror ball for us from another supplier. The farmer who owns the barn said it was the best party he'd seen there in the 5 years they'd been operating and this due in no small part to the lights and sound (and of course the partygoers!)."

"I booked Chris for my wedding in September and my husband and I are so pleased we did! From the initial booking Chris was great with communication - friendly and really clear in setting out the service options available to us. On the day itself, he was crucial in ensuring that everything ran smoothly (music obviously being a huge part of a wedding!). The day was brilliant and entirely stress free for both of us. In addition to managing the playlists & audio, Chris also facilitated my sister singing, which was such a special part of the day. Thanks very much! :D"

"A whole new experience! Big Day Revolution made our Wedding Day a whole new experience! James from the band spoke to my wife and I a handful of times prior to the wedding day to discuss set lists, first dance and father and daughter dance as well as various bits and pieces. James was very polite and laid back which gave us assurance the performance was going to be perfect! James and the band arrived on time and set up without anyone knowing they were even there which was a great surprise for everyone. James and the band learnt our choice of song for our first dance and they made it a real special moment for my wife and I which we cannot thank them enough for. The two live sets and two DJ sets that were performed did not let anyone down the dance floor was packed all night and they knew how to party! Thank you very much to James and the band for making our day special."

"Great service, friendly and helpful. So much easier and cheaper cutting out the DJ, able to play the songs I wanted still with great sound and lighting. Having the equipment set up and collected also reduced any hassle."

"We just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a HUGE thank you for being an absolutely amazing DJ at our wedding on Saturday. Everyone was on their the feet for the majority of the night dancing away and didn't want you to stop. We particularly loved the fact you did some old school kisstory type songs, it was amazing! "We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding day! Richard was professional, friendly, and completely in tune with the vibe we wanted. From the first dance to the final song, the music was flawless. He read the room perfectly, kept everyone on the dance floor all night, and even took requests with a big smile. Our guests are still talking about how brilliant the music was! The setup looked great, the transitions were smooth, and his warm, fun personality made everyone feel relaxed and ready to party. "Rob played for hours at our wedding and was absolutely amazing!! He couldn't do enough for us and everyone commented on how lovely it was to have live music. The set was fantastic and Rob was learning new songs for us right up until the week of the wedding!! Nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend Rob for any wedding or event. We will definitely use him again!!! All the guests loved the variety of songs and as the guests spanned from 2 weeks to 91 that was quite a challenge!! Baker street and cold play went down very well!!! Thanks Rob. Hope to catch you live soon."

"WORTH EVERY PENNY! They were absolutely fantastic for our wedding. Excellent communication, they got to the venue nice and early to set up. Really nice and polite guys, were excellent on the night with lighting/sound. Played really good songs, were flexible and always played requests, and made the night incredible. Myself and my partner had never booked a DJ before - if we ever need a disco again they will be the first I call, 10 out of 10 can't fault them. "

"Harvey was absolutely brilliant right from the initial consult. He took his time to understand everything we were after and never rushed us. He was very professional throughout the event and was definitely a highlight for the evening reception! We can’t thank him enough for all his hard work and making the wedding a success!
