"We booked Essjay to perform during canapés at our wedding in a funky Hotel. She happily discussed songs choices which suited our taste. She certainly looked the part on the day and was very polite, friendly and easy going. She has a stunning voice and the quirky edge she puts on every song is just beautiful. Numerous guests enquired where we found such a delight. She really set the scene for our day and our only regret is that we personally were unable to see more of her, but we had to mingle! If you want to book someone who is first class, book Essjay. We will never forget her making our day so memorable for all the right reasons! Huge thanks"

"These guys were amazing from day one to wedding day, and beyond! We had been debating whether to get a band for our wedding and after meeting Dan and Charlotte at a few wedding fayres, we always kept circling back to them. Their vibe and energy suited our wedding perfectly! We opted to book them for the entire day and they made the experience so smooth and took so much stress away from us, which was a godsend as we had so much to sort! Their repertoire is very extensive and covered a good amount of our guest's song requests as well which was great! We tasked Better Together Acoustic Duo with learning not one but two songs for our wedding, my walking down the aisle song and our first dance song. They absolutely smashed both, I wish I could have bottled the songs to hear them again and again! They spent the whole day with smiles on their faces and nothing was too much, even when our timings slipped they were understanding and just went with the flow! No dramas here! Would highly recommend them for any event. We've definitely found a band we'll happily see again and again!"

"Wow. I knew Lara was a very talented vocalist but she exceeded our expectations. She has the voice of an angel and we were all blown away. I’m confident my grandad heard the songs sung to him and Lara has provided us with a beautiful memory we shall treasure forever from a tough day. Right from the start of our communication, Lara was just the right balance of professionalism but also approachable human with a really kind heart. No matter what question I had or request I made she always went above and beyond to make it heard and we can’t recommend or thank her enough. What a talented lady overall a kind human being with an angelic voice. "

"Hi Jess You were simply perfect for the venue and the theme. Your music and look set the tone for a real 1920s vintage feel – we loved your repertoire of songs and it had just the right mix. Our guests were glowing in their praise for you and it created such a vibrant, feel-good atmosphere. I only wish we had had the chance to dance more – we were simply too focused on drinking and chatting to friends! We had an absolutely amazing evening (although as 3.00am came around it was certainly time to head home!!) and that was down, in no small part, to your involvement. Jess, thank you so much and for being so determined to honour the booking by having such a painful, tortuous journey – hope the hotel was OK!
