Review Centre: Guitarists

"Joe is the ultimate professional - and won over guests of all ages (from fussy teens all the way up to family in their 70s and 80s!) which is no easy task! So glad we booked him and he was a part of our special day! As some of my relatives are Turkish, I asked Joe if he could play 1 or 2 instrumentals of some popular Turkish pop songs if he could find the music sheets online - he ended up learning the handful of songs I shared with him, sang in Turkish the choruses of each and created a Turkish mega mix for us. Even my UK friends are still going on about it 6 weeks later! To be clear, Joe had never heard these songs before and does not speak Turkish. We planned a wedding in 1 month and appreciated Joe’s approach - he shared his suggested playlists which were all great and had a bit of everything for all music tastes and contacted the venue himself to understand noise restrictions and logistics to free up our time. He’s proactive and doesn’t need hand holding. He’s got an amazing voice and vibe and experience of judging the room which was important to us given it was a small intimate wedding (40 people) and we really weren’t sure how the day would land. It is testament to not only what an amazing talent Joe is but how driven he is in making your special day everything you want it to be. There were some songs I also wanted my husband and I to hear together so I told Joe what these were and he didn’t let us down - with a busy wedding and Photo Booth and toilet breaks etc. we weren’t always in the same spot but some how Joe managed it. "Working with Danny to create the right playlist for our wedding day/event was straightforward and fun as he was very open to ideas and suggestions. His honeyed tones, natural style and seemingly effortless performance made everyone feel at ease. In addition to a really beautiful voice, he has a great understanding of when to take centre stage and when to drop the tone, which meant that his performance hit just the right note. He was a joy to work with and we hope we get to do it again sometime. "

"We had Sean for my fathers 70th birthday party! And he didn’t disappoint! He played all the songs I had requested from his repertoire plus many many requests from my dad! And he was very polite and obliged and played them. The set was the perfect time frame and the price extremely reasonable and resembled the quality of the performance and service. I would highly recommend Sean if you are looking for an acoustic musician for your next event. And I will be hiring him again when we have another party. Caroline "

"Phil is a very talented musician. I booked him for a surprise proposal and he did above and beyond my expectation! He was a great singer/ acoustic player, handled the crowd very well and was great at communicating before the event. I would recommend him to anyone for any events!"

"Sian was absolutely amazing. We had such a good night and this was largely down to the chilled, warm, edgy, creative vibe that Sian brought with her music/singing. Her performance was everything I had hoped for and more, and so many people came up to me to say how good she was. I don’t give a 5 star rating lightly but there is absolutely nothing that I’d change about my experience with Sian. She has been professional throughout, was happy for me to choose my favourite songs from her large repertoire, arrived at the party in plenty of time to set up, looked great, played amazingly, managed interruptions for speeches etc. really well. She brought this celebration to life and made it incredibly special. Music can be so emotive, and I will honestly treasure this celebration for years to come…thank you Sian."

"Martin did a brilliant set and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We’ve such an eclectic taste in music and the fact he has a repertoire of over 500 songs, meant we really could select what we loved. Really appreciated the fact he also offered to learn some new songs of our choice especially for the occasion - it made our day. Very professional, and would highly recommend him. "We got married at the bandstand on Brighton beach, it was a relatively small affair of 32 guests and the guitar duo of Jason & Piers provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration. The style and level of music was ideal to keep guests listening without being intrusive. Being as we were on the bandstand, without wanting to wait for dinner and the rest, my bride and I wanted to grabbed the opportunity to have our first dance in the beautiful setting, and I must say, it was really, really beautiful (- for us at least, and we're looking forward to seeing the photos reflecting it!). Jason was super easy to deal with on the lead-up, which was a breath of fresh air in comparison to some very stressful interactions with other organisers (flowers, reception venue etc). These guys really helped toward making our day absolutely perfect and we couldn't have been happier to have hired them!"

"From the moment we saw and heard Stuart play, we knew he would be right for our wedding venue. He has not failed to deliver exceeding expectation. He has been a pleasure to deal with, polite, on time pleasant with guests and looked smart for the wedding. We’ve had some lovely feedback from guests arriving at the venue to Stuart’s guitar playing for their arrival and in the ceremony, he also rehearsed our special song for us for on the day to exit the ceremony which was perfect thank you Stuart. I would highly recommend Stuart and not hesitate to do so for music on arrival and in the ceremony he had plenty of song choices in his repertoire to get the right atmosphere for the wedding. It contributed to our perfect day. "
