Review Centre: 1920s, 30s & 40s Style Bands

"Fleur sang at our wedding this month and she was awesome. She sang me down the aisle - Etta James' 'At Last' and it was absolutely perfect. It was a beautiful way to kick off our wedding and all of the guests commented about how amazing Fleur's voice is. After the ceremony Fleur played at our afternoon reception, accompanied by her brilliant pianist. It was a lovely atmosphere and lots of the guests were joining in with the songs. I loved every minute of it. Fleur's voice sends shivers down your spine and she sang some of my favourite tunes. She puts her own spin on the songs and this is why I wanted her to play at our wedding. I would highly recommend Fleur; she adds that little something different, perfect and unique."

"You know how you read some reviews and you think it must have been one of the band or a member of the family? Beleive me this isn't one of them. Nicola and the boys were absolutely perfect. Everyone and I mean everyone had the best time. Such an intimate experience with a fabulous band. Our wedding was like an interactive later with Jools Holland gig. We couldn't be happier with the quality of music, atttitude and overall professionalism of Nicola and the boys. Would we have them again at another event? We wouldn't consider anyone else. There are so many "wedding bands" with standard generic chart music out there. If you want a charismatic performance with timeless music perfectly played don't waste your time looking anywhere else. We couldn't get our guests off of the bloody dance floor and there was also a much loved encore!! Nicola we can't thank you and the boys enough. You made our day spectacular. "We hired Lucinda to sing at our wedding in June 2023. She sang during the ceremony and our drinks reception which were both outside. She was incredible from start to finish. Her voice carried beautifully and so many of our guests commented on what an amazing singer she was. She was very professional and sang the songs we’d requested. I would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you Lucinda for being part of our special day. "

"Sooo good! We hired the talented Lazy River Band for a wedding at the Ethicurean restaurant just outside Bristol in October 2017. They created a perfect atmosphere for the wedding and were very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend!"

"Incredible, beautiful; the bands passion radiated. A very talented group, worth every penny!! Daisy looked stunning as did the boys !! The bands attention to detail in their appearance and set up was just outstanding.
