"A friendly, professional and highly entertaining band. Had everyone up dancing up on the first song and kept them going to the end of the event. Easy to work with and accommodating when the event was running behind schedule pushing back the bands start time. We all had great fun!"

"Soiree created the perfect atmosphere at my drinks party this Summer. They asked what sort of vibe I was after, I gave them a couple of special requests and they took care of everything from there. Having the live trumpet added to the afternoon- they certainly gave us a party to remember."

"Ella was amazing, super talent, super cool. She played at mine and my daughters joint 18/50 birthday party. She turned up with her guitar, speaker and her amazing voice. She played 2 sets, first in the garden then indoors and the party took off from there. There was a lot of love in the room for her from everyone that had the pleasure to see and listen to her play."

Performed for the first time by the band went down a treat to the surprised Bride. Guest trumpet player for the evening, the hugely talented, and very nice guy…… Bryan Corbett - Brand New Heavies."

"These played for our wedding and were absolutely brilliant! David and the rest of the band were accommodating from start to finish and not only learned our first dance song (and then switched when we had a last minute change of heart!) but also learned a song especially for my father in law and let him join them on the keyboard (twice!). The music was spot on and had everybody dancing all night long with a great set list. Wish I could give them an even higher rating!"

"Just back form our few days away after the wedding. I just wanted to say thank you so much for your performance on Friday night. You were fantastic and we had so much feedback from our guests saying the same. As I said in slightly drunken way at the end of your set, it is always a risk when you have seen a band perform live before but we were far from disappointed. "Now that we're back from honeymoon and getting into the swing of things again, we thought it was time to sart thanking the many people who helped to make our day - and evening - so special. You and the band were amazing! Such a fantastic sound and a wonderful set - including the horn section on "All You Need Is Love" - made for a night we'll all remember for the rest of our lives. Our guests and Jamie at Micklefield Hall have all commented on what a fantastic band Count Down To Swing are. "Funk it Up! played two amazing sets at our International Women’s Day Dance in Whitstable in March 2024. They were fantastic from beginning to end! Communication was great before the gig and they were friendly, accessible and professional throughout. They played a wide range of fabulous music which was spot on and had all our guests dancing and singing along. All the band are great musicians but what a coup to have such a fantastic, confident woman at the top of her game on lead vocals, epitomising the theme of this event. We’ve had such positive comments since the gig and I can’t recommend this band highly enough."
