"Souls are AWESOME! We first saw them at a friends wedding in 2016 and loved them, so when it came to our wedding it was a simple decision to make. We had so many amazing comments from our guests - some who have never seen a sing-off at a wedding before! Katy is very speedy in getting back to you and she made it a really easy process for us. They couldn't have ended our day in a better way. I would recommend to anyone :)"

"What a fantastic night! This band absolutely smashed it! Great tunes, great musicians, great bunch of guys - so professional. Elevated the night from good to amazing, everyone was on the dance floor - we will be doing it all over again. Looking forward to booking them for our 30th anniversary at the end of the year. "W!red were faultless!! With so many different musical preferences under one roof, their repertoire covered everything from classic rock and pop. They had guests up on their feet dancing throughout the night, starting off with a few before the floor was full with a dancing circle, with Sue the singer joining in. 3 45 minute sets and Sue voice showed no sign of tiring out. Everyone I have spoken to on the day thought the band were tight and on point! Sue's voice is pitch perfect. The professionalism of the band cannot be faulted. We were provided with a range of songs included in their sets and were able to pick and choose from a fantastic selection through the decades! We were even able to send on some personal requests for specific wedding dances and a couple of personal requests from family members ('sweet Caroline'). Their rendition of Fleetwood Mac's 'Landslide' had my blubbering like a baby during my father and bride dance! 10/10 would recommend this band for any function or event! Thank you guys!! You were truly amazing and deserve every success!! "

"After viewing lots of different bands on Youtube, we went to see Soul Funk Classic in a bar in Accrington. The music was excellent and although the stage wasn't big enough to have all 8 members, it was enough to persuade us to book them for our daughter's wedding. We live in West Yorkshire and agreed a very reasonable price including travel for the full 8 piece band. The music was excellent and appealed to a wide range of ages, playing classics that everyone knew, such as music from films The Blues Brothers, The Commitments and artists such as Aretha Franklin. They played 2 longs sets and had all the guests dancing: they were even asked for encores. The band were very friendly and integrated themselves into the event to help create a memorable occasion. Without hesitation I would definitely recommend them for your event!"

"A huge Thank you to the whole band for your wonderful performances at my daughters birthday party. Everyone had a fantastic time, I don' think we stopped dancing all evening. The choice of songs were fantastic so entertaining and something for everyone."

"Jazz Chiefs played at our restaurant on NYE 2022 and they suited the venue perfectly - jazzy, slick and they sang all the best party anthems. The playlist they chose for in between sets really got the guests going and created an incredible atmosphere to see us into the new year. We will definitely be using them again for future events!"

"Ginger provided the music for my wedding. She arranged a Duo with a guitarist for the champagne toast and then her band played after our wedding breakfast. All of our guests have said what an excellent band they are. They had everybody up dancing young and old. I think my nana thinks Ginger is her friend as she keeps asking me how she is!! Great fun band! Ideal for Weddings and parties.. excellent value for money."

"We absolutely loved the SW Funk Collective (or Solar Funky Music - not sure what you’re actually called as your website has a different band name to LMM!) at our wedding. Not only did they do all the simple stuff perfectly (i.e. turning up on time and setting up efficiently with minimal invasion) but their performance was also fantastic. A truly cohesive group of talented musicians who not only do the Motown and funk classics of the 70s proud, but also curated a set list based on our preferences and learnt a song not normally in their repertoire because it mean’t something to us. Their performance was energetic and tight, and no effort was spared (including bringing and playing a slide whistle for just one song). I have already recommended them to several friends for their upcoming weddings. "
