"Amazing! We can't recommend House of Chords enough! We chose them because they seemed more unique than other wedding bands we had looked at. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, with children up way after their bedtime, having a whale of a time. Everyone was talking about how great they were at breakfast the next morning. House of Chords were professional and friendly from start to finish and responded very quickly to emails which is always so helpful when you are busy planning your wedding. Mike contacted us in advance of our wedding to touch base and we had a reassuring and informative call, talking us through how it would all work. Their set list covered all ages and was well thought through based on our music tastes we had discussed. They were one of the best parts of our wedding and an unforgettable experience which we wish we could do all over again. Thank you to Mike, Andy and the rest of the band, from Elodie and Denis."

"We used Radio Dukes as our wedding band, and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. EVERYONE commented on how amazing they were, friends have asked for their contact details to book them at their own events. They had everyone up on the dance floor all night, and there songs were so original. Loved them!!!!"

"Planning a wedding is really complicated and there are so many hard decisions, so let’s make this an easy one - just book the Hot Hats! Alfie and the team are absolutely phenomenal, if you want a fun acoustic duo who’ll draw people to the floor or get spontaneous dancing at the bar, these really are your guys. Their choice of music was brilliant and had the full range to suit everyone, all played perfectly. I’ve seen a number of duos at weddings and whilst many are great musicians, many can be quite sterile, getting up, doing their thing and leaving - the Hot Hats most definite aren’t. They are super-friendly and the audience engagement is amazing, I spent as much time laughing along with them as I did dancing and they expertly wield that engagement to draw people into the party. Having perfectly read the room, they led us into the perfect night of entertainment! The engagement with Alfie beforehand was brilliant and he made the whole process really straightforward and the day itself also couldn’t have been easier - the Hot Hats turned up early, sorted everything with the venue and even stepped in when we forgot to announce we were cutting the cake! They handle everything musical, they come with some great kit and even run DJ sessions between their sets so you get the full musical package. So save yourself some party-planning time and just go for them - you really won’t regret it!"

"Hi Davie and the band, Now that the wedding is over and we are back from our honeymoon?, I just wanted to send you a massive thank you for the awesome night of dancing we had last weekend at our wedding at Lands of Loyal Hotel in Alyth. You have got to be the best ceilidh band I have ever heard!! The rocky and fast paced sets were just unreal to dance to and all our Irish guests loved learning how to ceilidh dance. Such an amazing night and we really cannot thank you enough! I have dropped Chloe at Freak music a wee email to say how fantastic you were and asked if she can put the review up on their website. "Alfie and the "Hot Hats" were amazing! They absolutely made our wedding celebration. They were very professional, flexible, reassuring and calm in the run-up to the big day - no dramas, everything was easy, and we knew we were in good hands. They turned up early and brought great sound and light kit with them (easily big enough for our festival-feel outdoors event). They played all the tunes we'd requested beforehand for the DJ set, then proceeded to wow everyone with upbeat live playing and singing from their extensive set list that got everyone to their feet. We won't forget everyone sitting down to James's "Sit Down" in a hurry! Alfie was great with the crowd and he and Owen were not only extremely good musicians (we had some professionals in the audience who also commented on how good they were) but also really nice chaps to have around - they just made the whole thing happier and more fun. What more could you ask for from a wedding band? We're so very pleased we found Hot Hats and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Alfie!"

"We had the T Tones for our wedding band. They were absolutely amazing and entertaining. They had everybody up dancing (all generations) and really created a fun atmosphere. We had so many comments on the band. The lead singer has some fantastic dance moves and a superb voice!! A great band that topped off our unforgettable day!
