"I found Penny via Google & contacted her, all of our communications by phone or email were extremely friendly but I could tell she would deliver what I asked for. I've never organised live music for an event before, this event was my mother's funeral so very important to me. Penny played a classical piece - Elgar's Nimrod - during the service for period of contemplation then ended with Time to Say Goodbye, very appropriate. She played beautifully & I know the small congregation will never forget it, my wife & I were so pleased. So thank you Penny."

"Claire played for our wedding last year and it was absolutely beautiful! Everyone was stunned by her playing and we loved how she played each song. She played for the guests on arrival and then Wildest Dreams for me as I walked down the aisle and it was so gorgeous!! Everyone had goosebumps and I still get goosebumps now thinking of that wonderful moment! She also played LOVE by Nat King Cole for our exit and we were all laughing and crying on our way out! It was perfect! She then played for part of our reception as everyone came from the ceremony and had canapés It was a lovely selection of music and perfect as everyone was mingling. We loved that she played one of our choices when we came in. All in all we are so glad we chose her. Couldn’t imagine the day with anyone else! She was so professional, looked stunning and just played beautifully and just all around a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much!"

"James was an absolutely amazing addition to our wedding reception. He created an amazing atmosphere and added such a vibe to the whole afternoon, all of our guests were loving it. We would recommend James in a heartbeat, he was so friendly, talented and charismatic on the day! He even played for us as we walked into our wedding breakfast which was so much fun! "I booked Duncan to play at my 60th Birthday Party Celebration. It was a Spanish theme and Duncan set exactly the right tone for the event. My guests and I had a brilliant time at the party and that was in no small part due to Duncan and the music he played. I found Duncan charming and very easy to deal with and would have no hesitation in recommending him."

"Zöe played for wife as should walked down the aisle, a simply beautiful addition to our marriage service. Nothing can quite compare to the sound of the harp, especially when played by Zöe. In addition to her fabulous talent is her pleasant nature and flexibility. She was warm, caring and accommodating to our every need!"

"We probably made things a little difficult for the Strings in that our guest ages ranged from 6 to 90 and in a vast open area, their sound was difficult to hear unless in the main lawn area, and people were wandering everywhere. Having said that, several guests gave me feedback that was very positive and that they enjoyed the music a lot. Jane and the guys co-operated fully with any requests made, and I got a lot of comments where people recognised tunes but without words made it a challenge to identify the song or artist. I had hoped to get a few people dancing but my attempt failed, guests were very much into conversations with friends and family they had not seen got for considerable time. Overall, the strings were very professional, please pass on my thanks to Jane and her colleagues, just a feeling that we did not do them justice."
