"John was a lovely chap, he played a good range of music along with any special requests. Nothing was too much trouble for John and he kept intouch in the run up to our wedding and was keen to understand what we wanted. When the dancefloor wasn't empty when the night was coming to an end he was happy to stay on for another hour. "

"We hired Carlo for our destination wedding in Italy and he was phenomenal. From the ceremony to the evening sax and DJ party, everything was seamless. If you need a destination wedding saxophonist in Europe, Carlo is professional, easy to work with and brings incredible energy. The live saxophone over the DJ set made the night unforgettable."

"Wanted a disco ball and some uplighters to help my daughter’s 18th birthday party “sparkle”! The friendly team at Core Events were so helpful, from start to finish, with lots of advice on what to hire, and guidance on how to set things up ourselves. The equipment was exactly what we wanted and easy to use. Would highly recommend!"

"A voice that covers the whole range from soft sensitive ballads to belting rock, all with a wonderful sense of conviction, taste and soul. A great album featuring imaginative arrangements and superb singing- Gordon really can get inside a song and, a rarity indeed, isn't dependent on microphones to carry his powerful voice."

"We are so incredibly grateful for how fantastic Mitch was performing DJ/percussion at our wedding evening. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to kick the party off! The guests absolutely loved the dj/percussion combo and are all still talking about it! Mitch brought such fun and energy to the evening and it exceeded our expectations in every way! He was so personable and patient with alcohol fuelled guests and we honestly couldn’t have hoped for anyone better! Mitch is fabulously talented and we hope we have an occasion where we can have him join us again! I would 100% recommend, fantastic service from the initial enquiry through to the big day. "I just wanted to say how fantastic the band were! I managed to speak to a couple of them but didn’t get a chance to talk to all of them, but they were just brilliant. We’ve had so many comments from guests about how great they were too. They even got my dad dancing!!! I hope they enjoyed it too! Do they do any live gigs? Thanks for all your help too in arranging it and finding the right balance for us. It was so worthwhile, at least from our perspective."

"We ran several monthly quiz nights with disco music at the beginning of the year. The attendance was low but all had a good time. We offered free tea or coffee and snacks to raise money for charity. A nice hall with its own P.A. system."

"Best end to a Wedding you could hope for!! James and Big Day Revolution played and DJ'ed at our wedding 11th May 2024 and they smashed it out of the park!! They even created and played the perfect first dance song which was a blend of both acoustic and rock versions of 'I believe in a thing called love' and they truly. Couldn't have nailed the brief better!!! The band members are lovely and really engaged with our guests and kept the party going! We've had so many amazing comments on the band and how wonderful they were so if youre thinking of booking, don't think just do! You will never regret that decision! Thank you James and Big Day Revolution!!"
