"I was so excited when I found Absolute band's website and saw their repertoire and videos of them playing, it was exactly the vibe we were looking for. We booked them originally for June 2020, then moved to April 2021, then again moved to July 2021! Geoff was so kind and understanding and flexible throughout, navigating wedding season in a pandemic and making sure that we could have the numbers of guests we wanted there. They played on 3rd July 2021 and the dancefloor was absolutely banging! Because of covid we had to have an outside dancefloor - they were so flexible and played at the edge of the marquee facing out, whilst we all danced on a patio under a gazebo. It was truly magic. Our guests are a huge mix of ages and the dancefloor was rammed the entire time they were playing. We were running late and they were so flexible by doing an extra long set for us before the music had to turn off. They played all our favourite songs, and played a couple of requests that weren't on their repertoire. I cannot recommend them enough, they are really well priced for the standard of their performance, and I would book them again in an instant! "Modern Strings did a fantastic job at our wedding. I asked for a string trio. They followed my instructions to the letter and were very cooperative during the event and in the run up to it. They brilliantly played additional pieces of music that were not on their repertoire. They also beautifully played a mixture of classical and popular songs. All guests commented how well they played and what a fantastic idea it was to have a live trio at our wedding. The trio were smiley and extremely friendly and reliable on our wedding day. I would recommend their services to my best of friends and family and would employ their services again should I have another event. Very well done and thank you for making our special day even more special. "

"James sang at our wedding reception at the Upper House Barlaston. He was fantastic. He sang our first dance song live which made it extra special and made a real effort to get everyone up and dancing. A great mix of live singing and DJ sets which everyone from young to old enjoyed. I would definitely recommend him. Thank you for making our evening reception a great memory"

"So much fun!! James & Ben came to our marquee wedding in May as a DJ/sax combo! We could not recommend them enough, we had a phonecall with James pre-wedding to discuss the type of music/songs we like and they provided exactly what we wanted! Everyone was on the dance floor from the very beginning, loving the songs and the sax went down a treat! They played any requests any guests had and we still now (a week later) get comments on how good the music was!! "

He created a fantastic atmosphere throughout our wedding reception, providing a perfect mix of smooth jazz music during the welcome drinks and food, before moving onto more lively music that got everyone dancing later in the evening. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating throughout, and truly a joy to have at the event. We will definitely be booking him again for future parties. Thank you Jamie!"

So sorry I didn’t get a chance to meet you both for very long, it was such a hectic first couple of hours, especially as I had never met half of the guests. Thank you so much again."
