"Thanks very much for such a wonderful performance on Saturday. Without exception everyone has said "and weren't the band fantastic". In fact it may have affected the dancing as many people also said they could have listened all night!!! Some achievement in view of the age ranges. It was very much appreciated and thank you all for making Di's party such a great success. We will certainly have no hesitation in using you again or recommending you to others."

"We had the most wonderful, beautiful wedding day and it was made all the more special by your beautiful singing at the church and with your band at the reception. "Think prohibition, speakeasy , stripped back raw blues , soul searching sadness counter balanced with hope and optimism. Ma Bessie and her Blues Troupe exceeded all expectations with a great narrative and music show at Bridgwater Art Center . Close your eyes and listen to Julia Titus a powerful voice packed with emotion and expression and you were back in the 1920's and 1930's. From performing in tents, speakeasies to Vaudeville to becoming the blues singer of the era . Bessie Smith was a legend . Ma Bessie and the Blues Troupe supported by The Rag and Moan Men are not to be missed!!"

"what can we say... well they were amazing from start to finish. We had over a hundred guests at the wedding and everyone commented on how amazing they were. So many people were up dancing! The only regret we have is that we weren't able to dance more! Big thank you from Mat and Sarah you guys, you helped to make our wedding so special."
