"Professional throughout they were popular with all our guests and got many people up onto the dance-floor. They sounded amazing and fitted really well into our evening reception. They were also willing to make announcements so that everyone could come and watch our last dance before we headed off on honeymoon. We would happily recommend them to anyone who wants a fun and upbeat band to entertain at their party and provide great music to dance to."

"Really simple booking process and Gemma is really responsive, asking/answering questions really quick and easy! Our saxophonist, Raf, was just a joy to work with. He played a 1.5hr set at our wedding and was great at just free-styling to any song that came on by the DJ! Everyone stayed on the dance floor because of Raf, young and old, which is exactly what we wanted."

"We hired The Ace Jazz Band to perform at our street party event which we were filming for a digital television brand. They were highly professional and easy going to work with as well as brilliant musicians individually and as a band. The street crowd loved their jaunty, uplifting and perfectly orchestrated songs. They’re lovely men with great energy and we would highly recommend them to play at any party event/ live music event or filming production."

"Prophets of Swing were absolutely wonderful. They delivered exactly what we were hoping for and provided a lively and upbeat atmosphere at our wedding breakfast. Such talented, accomplished musicians. My husband and I were extremely impressed and absolutely delighted with them. All of our guests were singing their praises. I found Sarah-Jane Morris, and her assistants, very helpful, attentive and thorough with the booking process. "The Shakesters played at The Departure Lounge cafe for the cafes’ 10th anniversary and it couldn’t have been a better choice of bands. The weather was not on our side but the band managed to get everyone dancing and keep the atmosphere lively and fun. They have a unique style which fits the cafe perfectly. We’ll definitely be keeping the band in our minds for any future events."

"This was the Band's first proper live concert and what a great success it was! My husband and I heard them busking one Saturday in Beverley and were immediately impressed. I subsequently contacted Michael Grant and arranged a date. The concert was in our 600 year old church and they played to an audience of 90 people and kept us entertained for nearly 2 hours with just a short interval. They were fantastic! From the very start, when they marched down the aisle from the back playing 'When the Saints' they got everyone's feet and fingers tapping. Michael who is SO talented played the clarinet - I'm sure he'll go places and he had a great rapport with the audience was also very pleasant and accommodating when we were finalising fees and times etc. Dan on the banjo and Ben on double bass were both excellent - again two very talented musicians. They were all great and we had a fantastic night and everyone has been full of praise for them and want them back next year. Thank you so much guys!! Hope to see you again."
