"We booked The Blue Notes for our wedding at The Plough on 7th April to play an acoustic set during our meal after meeting Tom at a wedding fair. My husband, Ollie, got on really well with him. We booked straight away. Tom was brilliant at advising us what would work best in the venue and they were set up quickly on the day with no fuss. They created a brilliant atmosphere during our reception meal and their song choices were perfect - a great mix of chilled music with a build up into some quicker songs as the meal came to a close to prepare guests for the evening. Thanks so much for being part of our day! Highly recommended"

"House of Chords were brilliant. We booked them for our wedding and they matched our brief perfectly. We wanted our guests to have a good time with good music, and House of Chords absolutely smashed it. "Thank you for making our wedding reception so memorable. Without exception all our guests thought you were amazing. We struck gold finding you. Totally fitted in with our chilled out, intimate wedding, good-time atmosphere. In fact added so much to it. Thanks for fulfilling all our requests and for completely exceeding all our expectations. Favourite moments have to be Sweet Child o Mine and Sit Down. Thankfully you weren’t put off by our over enthusiastic “singing” and “dancing”! An all round very capable, dynamic and very friendly wedding duo who managed to cope with our rather chaotic celebrations. Our only disappointment was that it all had to end! I’ve never known an acoustic wedding band have to do an encore before. You’re lucky the guests actually let you leave! We’ll definitely be hoping to see you again soon. Thanks again."

"I wanted to drop a message to say a massive thank you for all your support for both act that performed at our wedding. Dirty dancing were amazing and we had the best day. Everyone who went said they had an amazing time and said it was the best wedding they went too and the act really helped us to get this so this is amazing. Both were so professional, friendly and really engaging to the guests that were there. I would highly recommend them."

"So what can I say that hasn't already been said? The Fireflies lived upto & exceeded expectations. From making first contact with Ian and discussing plans & requirements, to packing away after my husband Toms 70th birthday celebration in our garden, the band were personable, friendly & professional. The music they played or included on the playlist was as requested, and was perfect for all guests to enjoy. Ian always checked that I was happy with how things were and was very reassuring, especially when he first arrived and could see how stressed I was, so that I was finally able to enjoy the party too. So many of our guests asked how I found the band, and comments such as "they're amazing", "superb band", "they're great, aren't they" & from the birthday boy himself "wow" are further testaments as to why you should seriously consider them for your event. Even uninvited neighbours, days later, said they enjoyed the music. Thank you Ian, Sam, James & Greg - you made our party memorable. We're still talking about it!"

"I just wanted to send a BIG thank you to you and the band for all of your amazing efforts on Friday!!! The guests were honestly so blown away with the party and we’ve already had so many ‘thank you’ s’ today, all expressing how amazed they were with it all and how much they loved you guys. Here is just a few of the comments we have received so far… The band were just the icing on top of the cake! They were amazing! I loved how they weren’t on a stage, and really involved the audience. Please can you send me the name of them so I have hit in my mind to recommend. The band were brilliant and I loved how they played such a wide range of music to suit everyone. It has to be the best event I have been to with regards to the theme running through the whole evening and the attention to detail was fantastic. We enjoyed it all, from the venue, the superb food, brilliant band and of course great hosts!
