"We hired our local hall for our anniversary and the evening was made by Rudy and the band. Starting off with some mellow jazz standards before bringing the house alive with some fabulous entertainment. Just superb!"

"Wanted a disco ball and some uplighters to help my daughter’s 18th birthday party “sparkle”! The friendly team at Core Events were so helpful, from start to finish, with lots of advice on what to hire, and guidance on how to set things up ourselves. The equipment was exactly what we wanted and easy to use. Would highly recommend!"

"Charlie is INCREDIBLE! I would recommend him to absolutely anyone, we had sent him a few songs on his portal to show what sort of music we liked and he absolutely smashed it!! My guests danced the night away, all night, to songs ranging from old classics to new. I hope we see Charlie again, I would book him for any occasion I planned! "We had Charlie play at our wedding over the weekend, and what a night he put on for us! He was great in playing all the song choices we chose, and just created the most amazing atmosphere. From Beyoncé to ABBA… all the favourites were played making all our guests stay on their feet. We added some purple mood lighting to our package which made the room look so beautiful come the evening. Couldn’t recommend him enough, so friendly & absolutely smashed it 🎉 Thank you so much 🥂"

"Delighted by the service from James at Basement Hire. Wanted lights and sound for my wife's 60th birthday party in a local Tithe Barn and James sorted us out some brilliant kit and came and set up a splendid arrangement with the minimum of fuss and at a time to suit us. Ditto collection after the party. Very easy to deal with for pre order queries and advice and also kindly collected a mirror ball for us from another supplier. The farmer who owns the barn said it was the best party he'd seen there in the 5 years they'd been operating and this due in no small part to the lights and sound (and of course the partygoers!)."

"Excellent Keith arrived at exactly the time he said he would. Unloaded and set up with absolutely no fuss. Dealt with 7 or 8 separate performances over the whole day. Sound reinforcement is never plain sailing when outside but Keith took it all in his stride and provided a great live sound for our event. There were many compliments regarding the live music and that’s not possible without a good sound. I’ve already booked Keith for the same event next year"
