"We hired JN Audio for our wedding evening party to run the stage and sort out the band we had planned to play in the evening. They did an amazing job at looking after all the bands requirements, sorting out the background music playlist in between the band and also sorting out the lighting for the night. The night was a huge success and everyone commented how good the stage looked and sounded - having these guys made all the difference and took away all the stress so we could focus on enjoying our evening. Their rates are really competitive for the quality of service you get.. thanks again guys! 10/10. "

"I want to really thank and recommend Grimshaw Audio/Chris for his work with us on an event at Batley Bulldogs Rugby Stadium. Chris provided exactly what we needed for an event with over 1,000 school children. The equipment/sound he provided was perfect for the needs of the event. The way in which he adapted to OUR last minute changes was hugely professional and courteous with lots of patience. The event which was a first for our organisation to plan had all we needed in terms of sound (across a huge venue) which included individual speakers, school choirs, samba band and soloists. I would really recommend Grimshaw Audio - for our huge event he offered to us all we needed and more. Thank you so much and so sorry this review has taken so long for me to complete. "The guys are amazing to work with! Nothing is too much trouble or a silly question. They go above and beyond and our first beer and music festival was a hit. I wouldn’t have wanted to use anyone else! From the beginning until even after the event the guys were incredible and the best! With so much to do, lighting and sound was something I didn’t have to worry about. Great communication coming from them without me having to go to them, a long time in advance. Highly recommend for everyone for great quality not only for sound and lighting but also for every other aspect like professionalism, friendliness, helpful, commitment, communication, knowledge…. Absolutely everything about these guys is 5*! Thank you so much guys!"

"Hired the 'Ultimate Party Bundle' to use with our own decks, mixer and radio mike for a wedding (speeches and disco). Equipment was delivered and set up on time and provided great sound and lighting. The package was ideal for the marquee (about 90 guests). Lights and speakers were in excellent condition. Basement Hire answered all my questions in advance regarding connections, cables etc. "

"We recently got hitched in the UK and a few of the attending guests and I play in band(s) together. We thought it would be nice to extend the wedding weekend and have a day of live music the day after the wedding. As most of the band live and work overseas, transporting our own PA equipment wasn't feasible so we looked into hiring some gear for the day. Grimshaw Audio was recommended by a friend who works in the music business so I contacted Chris through the website and he quickly replied to confirm he was available and offered some great advice on the equipment we required. He also offered to set up and manage all the technical stuff throughout the day so we didn't need to worry about levels, settings etc. The price seemed very reasonable so we progressed with the booking. Following a phone conversation to firm up the details, it was clear that Chris is extremely knowledgeable about about his work and service; Grimshaw Audio was obviously a passionate hobby as well as a professional business. We were scheduled to start the first set at around 3:00pm on the Sunday; Chris and his colleague arrived at 10:00am to set up! The kit they work with is amazing. The speakers are hand crafted by Chris so he literally knows them inside out. Backed up by a remote tablet mixer, he can stroll the venue and and adjust the levels accordingly via a Bluetooth connection (I guess?). We're an amateur band so having a sound engineer and a quality PA set up was a real novelty for us; despite all our rusty mistakes we've never sounded so clear and bright (in our opinion). All the vocals and instruments, (percussion, bass, keys, guitar) were fed through the same PA so Chris was also able to provide us with a full recording on a USB stick. All in all, I can't recommend this guy enough. A young business with a bright future for sure. I just wish he lived in the Middle East so we could hire him for every gig! "
