Review Centre: Party Bands

"Well what can I say?! It was my husbands 60th Birthday and we had a party planned! We’ve been to many parties & functions where the ‘live band’ had not delivered that fabulous party atmosphere that is required to make a party / celebration a success. I spent a lot of time reviewing various live party bands and made my decision after viewing The Pocket Rockers Facebook page which contained videos of previous parties. Once I made my mind up and made an enquiry I received timely & informative replies to my queries. We decided to leave it to The Pocket Rockers to come up with a set list to make the party a memorable one - informing them of my husbands likes & dislikes - and they certainly delivered! "Saw them at the Claude doing an acoustic set. Absolutely brilliant. I love their own version of Dakota. Never heard it like that before. It was beautiful. Really liked the medleys. Great guitarist and stunning vocals. I look forward to seeing them again."

"Something Sweet were absolutely fantastic at my 30th birthday and really made my party. They were very pleasant to deal with before, during and after the event and the songs they played were spot on for easy listening and even some dancing. All the guests commented on how professional they were and what a great sound they had. The singer has a gorgeous voice. Would definitely book them again, and recommend them to others! 10/10. "This isn't even biased because they were our wedding band - House of Chords are THE BEST!! The response to them on the evening from our guests, as well as the feedback we've had, was phenomenal!! We're a month down the line and I still have friends and family reaching out to either comment on how much the band rocked, or to ask for their details! There was a full dance floor all night, literally! Such a great selection of songs, building up the momentum throughout the evening to an amazing final set and send-off! Our first dance wasn't on their repertoire but they still absolutely smashed it which set the night off perfectly! Just amazing, I can't really put it in to words, but thank you Mike, Andy, Ant & Ric for being the most amazing wedding band and making our reception the absolute best it could have been! Better than we could have ever dreamt of! I would not hesitate to recommend them - if you're thinking of booking, do it now!! You will not regret it!"

"I would definitely recommend wired4sound for your party or wedding! They provided the music for my husband’s birthday party and it was a huge success. The quality of the music was amazing and we had people dancing all night! The communication before the event was excellent and everything went very smoothly on the night. "

"The band was good and up to the expectations, our guests enjoyed the set and danced the whole night. The band is discrete and does not interact much with the crowd, but they are professional and the music selection is great. We were satisfied with our night, thanks to the band!"

"We booked Cover Tree to play at the major social event of our year and we were not left disappointed. Playing to over 1000 people ranging from 16-30 they played a wide range of modern and classic tunes full of energy and enthusiasm and the crowd just loved them! The venue was buzzing! 
As an annual event, the feedback for them has been universally positive from everyone who attended. They played something for everyone and had everyone on the dance floor. In the words of some of the audience....The band was Ace!... One of the best of the summer so far.... Excellent.... Good mix of music... Can we have them next year?.... Great voice and went on for a good long time... V good!... Where did u find them?.... a really good night... Brilliant...  
They were easy to deal with and our sound technician had no problems in working with them. We would definitely recommend them to other people and would happily work with them in the future. Thank you once again. "

"Our wedding was such a special day and the icing on the cake was certainly our wonderful band! All our guests commented on their energy, sense of fun and sheer talent. The Hot Hats had everyone up and dancing from the first dance right through until the end. From toddlers to my nan – the band got everyone involved. THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

"Simone and Jack, who played Guitar, were just outstanding. The music Simone chose to sing was absolutely fantastic and perfect for the mood of our party. By the time she finished we were dancing the night away! Simone has a strong and beautiful voice and she made our gathering into a party. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to family and friends and hope we have another opportunity in the near future, to hear her sing again."

"I just wanted to send a BIG thank you to you and the band for all of your amazing efforts on Friday!!! The guests were honestly so blown away with the party and we’ve already had so many ‘thank you’ s’ today, all expressing how amazed they were with it all and how much they loved you guys. Here is just a few of the comments we have received so far… The band were just the icing on top of the cake! They were amazing! I loved how they weren’t on a stage, and really involved the audience. Please can you send me the name of them so I have hit in my mind to recommend. The band were brilliant and I loved how they played such a wide range of music to suit everyone. It has to be the best event I have been to with regards to the theme running through the whole evening and the attention to detail was fantastic. We enjoyed it all, from the venue, the superb food, brilliant band and of course great hosts! Amy and I wanted to thank you all for a truly magical, enchanting evening last night – we had a fantastic time ! We especially loved your tree people and the band – they were amazing.
