"I couldn't recommend highly enough, Stargazers really made our night special and got our wedding guests up and dancing. They listened to us about our music preferences, Phoebe had the most amazing voice and we really didn't want the night to end. A special thanks for letting one of our guests with special needs have a go on the mic. Would absolutely book again, created the perfect atmosphere."

"I really am so grateful to you for giving us exactly what we had wanted for the occasion, in presentation, in the programme selection, and in the brilliant jazz you played. We had many, many favourable comments, including from guests who had gone outside for some of the time to talk in the sunshine, but who could hear and appreciate all the music from the patio. "House of Chords are second to none. They played exactly what was needed and the dance floor was never empty. Hugely popular and very professional; I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others who want their party to be memorable. People have not stopped talking about them since they played for us and I’ve already been asked when they can come again. The boys are the talk of the Regiment! Terrific value for money. In a word – Brilliant."

"We booked Evelyn and the Band for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! We found choosing a band really tricky knowing that it was something we both really cared about and prioritised, wanting the party at our wedding to be perfect - after getting in touch with the band for more live videos of them performing, we knew we'd found what we were looking for! They were absolutely fantastic and quite literally had the entire wedding party on the dance floor - so many people commented on how amazing they were, both on the night itself and many times since! Evelyn is a phenomenal singer and the band are just so talented, they made the songs their own, brought the party (conga line behind the trombone player) and even had the groom up to play trumpet for a song! Great song lists, very talented musicians, so easy to work with, so friendly and accommodating, can't thank them enough! 11/10!"

"Top work guys!!! Absolutely perfect! Incredibly friendly band, great communication throughout booking process, discreet setup, can book directly so you know all money goes to them and the music was outstanding!!! So many guests commented on the music and the dance floor was alive with crazy dance moves! Thanks so much!"

Our family and friends and still talking about the day and how great the BM Ceilidh Band was. The atmosphere you created was just what we wanted and you were wonderful when the singer didn’t turn up. "I first experienced House of Chords as a guest at a wedding in December 2015. They were the best live party band my family and friends had ever seen. With the responsibility of organising a joint 21st and 50th celebration, the band were at the top of our list to ensure a good time would be had by all. Again, what a night! They surpassed what were already very high expectations. These gifted guys are accomplished musicians with superb technical ability topped by pitch perfect distinctive vocals from the lead singer. Whilst genuine masters of their artistic craft, they lack any ego and their primary purpose as entertainers is to make sure everyone has a fun and fabulous time. Words can’t do justice to the hugely positive feedback we received from our guests. Hiring a band from cold can feel like a real gamble but I can assure you these guys deliver and then some. They have an extensive, popular and eclectic repertoire and can improvise and specialise whatever you want as well as adapting to the vibe and tempo in the room. The dance floor was packed from start to finish with the guests pleading for encores. They are genuinely nice guys and they fully get it's your night not theirs - although it’s clear they really enjoy playing and entertaining. This genuine enthusiasm quickly becomes infectious around the room. The band are highly professional and from the moment you make contact with the lead guitarist, Mike, you feel reassured that you will be in safe hands. A very personable guy, he’s happy to talk it through with you, makes sure the band will deliver exactly what you want and can offer helpful advice and insight to make it the best night ever. Also for our party these talented musicians take their role as entertainers seriously and they still arrived in good time to set up despite horrendous traffic problems on that day. They appreciate how important the success of your party is to you. I don’t ever write reviews but felt compelled to do so because if you are like me, you might just need a second or even a third opinion and some reassurance when planning such a celebration. I can’t say it enough -you will have a great time if you book these guys."

"I would like to say a massive thanks to you all, our Wedding at the Legacy Rose and Crown, Harnham, Salisbury on the 17 Aug 19 was a fantastic day and night, the set that you did was amazing on every level, everyone has said that you, the band were amazing and a wonderful way to end what was already a fantastic day, I would so recommend you for any event, very professional and a amazing sound that all of you pumped out, we will be recommending you to all of our family and friends for any party that we may have in the future.
