"Hi Jess You were simply perfect for the venue and the theme. Your music and look set the tone for a real 1920s vintage feel – we loved your repertoire of songs and it had just the right mix. Our guests were glowing in their praise for you and it created such a vibrant, feel-good atmosphere. I only wish we had had the chance to dance more – we were simply too focused on drinking and chatting to friends! We had an absolutely amazing evening (although as 3.00am came around it was certainly time to head home!!) and that was down, in no small part, to your involvement. Jess, thank you so much and for being so determined to honour the booking by having such a painful, tortuous journey – hope the hotel was OK! "I booked Darren Shaw through Last Minute Musicians during the summer to entertain our group at the Christmas Party which we held on Thursday, 1st December 2022. You can imagine picking someone from the internet to entertain a group of over 150 people at their special annual bash I did it wondering if I had done the right thing. The evening came and Darren was at the venue in excellent time to get set up and for Richard to test the sound equipment. We had our meal in the lovely venue of the Grand Pavilion at The Moorlands, Ogden, Halifax, which is our local place for posh parties. Then on came Darren and from the very first number I could relax and enjoy the evening as he was wonderful. He very quickly picked up what our audience liked and he ran with it all evening. He did us a 45 minute spot and then we drew our raffle which was quite a long affair as we had many prizes and in total we made £432 which went to our chosen charity for the year - Prostate Cancer. Then on Darren came again and had everyone on the floor dancing and for those who weren't able to dance we could sing along and sing our arms in the air to Sweet Caroline and such numbers. What I great evening he gave us. I spent the following day receiving emails and phone calls from people who had been at the party telling me what a wonderful evening they had had and saying how wonderful Darren had been. I would not hesitate to recommend him as your entertainer, you won't be disappointed. "

I bumped into one of dads friends yesterday who said it was the best party he and his wife had been to in years and they particularly mentioned you and how fantastic you were. I think what was really great was that you pitched it just right for the occasion. We really wanted the day to be for my dad, about my dad and for his friends and family that are of a similar generation and your contribution was perfect. Anyway I shall finish here and wish all the very best in your career. You have beautiful voice and a great style and it was an absolute pleasure seeing you perform."

"We chose Wendy to play at our wedding and it was such a good decision. She played beautifully at both the ceremony and during our wedding breakfast. She is such a lovely person and we instantly knew from our first conversation with her that we wanted her to be part of our wedding day. We chose the songs we wanted to be played for the ceremony and they sounded amazing on the piano. During the wedding breakfast Wendy played a selection of songs which added to the atmosphere of the day. The feedback we received from our guests about Wendy was so positive and we can't thank her enough for sharing her musical talent on our special day. Thanks again Best wishes Rachel x"

"Matt did an outstanding performance at our wedding, getting everyone on the dance floor, all our guests thought he was brilliant. Matt was extremely professional from the start, from making arrangements, understanding the vibe we were going for, playing our first dance and accommodating last minute changes in timings. A true talent who made our wedding extra special. Highly recommend!"
