Review Centre: Party Bands

"I first saw MCATM at a gig in Salisbury. Not only did they sound fantastic with a brilliant set, but they got the whole pub on the dance floor...on a Thursday night, including me who was the sober designated driver. I was so impressed with what I had seen and heard, I decided that night to book them for our wedding. We met with Lewis and Clare a few times to discuss the music/sets before the wedding; they were professional, friendly, down to earth and knew exactly what I wanted for the day, and learnt a lot of songs for us. Come the wedding day; they arrived early to set up so not to disrupt the day, entertained from 2pm to early hours the next morning ...including playing outside, but also were super fun with my guests! They learnt our first dance "Perfect - Ed Sheeran" and made our dream come true as it literally was perfect. Fun was had by all and honestly I am so happy we chose them as they made our wedding incredible. THANK YOU MCATM"

"Many thanks to Kelly & Graham of ‘It takes 2’ It was an absolute pleasure to meet Kelly & Graham of It Takes 2 last night Afan Tavern Cwmavon With years of experience this duo kept the night alive with a mixture of upbeat songs ranging from 50,s to current top hits of rock, pop & country music, all of which kept the crowd dancing who thoroughly enjoyed! Kelly’s vocals & personality lit up the room along with Graham’s vast musical experience which he made playing the electric guitar look so easy! This is such a friendly talented duo who is accomodating to requests and you can rely on for a good time! Good luck in 2024 Kelly & Graham! We look forward to seeing you again soon! "Ardverikie Ceilidh Band played for our 40th birthday (70 adults + 20 kids). They were brilliant. The caller gave clear instructions and plenty of encouragement and was undaunted by the chaos of a squad of kids. The fiddle playing and guitar were excellent, and the musicians had the judgement to know when to give the crowd a rest and mix in instrumental sets and songs. In short, they put on a great Ceilidh, are absolute professionals and their version of the song “the Queen of Argyle” made my night."

"The VIP Formula performed for us last Saturday and were absolutely amazing!! They arrived in good time to set up before the guests arrived and looked great in their suits and hats, which worked well with the glitz and glam theme of the evening. The band were fantastic in creating a rapport with the guests, which got them dancing during the whole of their performance. Everyone loved them. The band even got the guests singing, clapping and doing a conga dance. We have certainly found our go-to band for a great celebratory event and would definitely hire them again. They were fabulous!"

"The Leathernecks were a real joy to dance and listen to at our wedding! They played our first dance song fantastically and even learnt a request song for us which they played later in the night. I would definitely book them again (but I don't intend to get married again haha)."

"Candy Sunday were fabulous. Everyone enjoyed their set. They got everyone onto the dance floor. We are so glad we booked them. Definitely worth the money. We’ve never booked a band before or been to a wedding with a band so didn't know whether to do so or not. We would certainly re-book or recommend them! We had a fabulous day and the band certainly helped to make our evening very memorable. They were excellent. Thank you!! "

"Booking Party Club Brass is up there with one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We knew that we wanted a brass band who would bring the energy and get our guests on their feet, but these guys were better than we could have hoped for. From the very beginning, they were brilliant with communication, accommodated any requests we had for the setlist and were just in general a pleasure to deal with. And then on the day they absolutely blew us away. Our guests couldn't say enough good things about them - their only complaint was that they were so tired at the end of the night, because they couldn't bear to leave the dancefloor at any point that the guys were performing! They matched our energy perfectly and finished off a pretty perfect day with a bang."
