Review Centre: Singers & Vocalists

"Last week, I hired Jeremy to perform for us at a private party, celebrating a major birthday. First of all it has to be said that my arrangements with Jeremy by e-mail were a breeze, he responded quickly and nothing it seemed was too much trouble. I asked if he could play five songs as part of the set which he duly did and he was happy to learn a further two of my choosing if required. The set itself was a range of covers from Johnny Cash to George Ezra with the Foo Fighters and Abba in between. He encouraged some audience participation and had us all providing backing vocals, tapping our feet and dancing in no time at all. He even got two of us to sing (badly and off key) along with him. He was professional, warm, engaging and made it a truly unforgettable evening. I am no music expert but I think Jeremy has a warm and colourful voice, is a great guitar player and deserves to be heard more widely. Even if you can't hire him for a private party you should try and catch him playing around the Ayr / Prestwick area. This man deserves a bigger audience. David R"

"We were absolutely blown away last night by the amazing Joe Doonan. Joe has an amazing voice that just captured everyone in the room. Not only that but he is such an approachable guy and a pleasure to be around. We could have listened to him all night. We have no problems in recommending Joe for any event and cannot wait for him to visit York again when we will most definetely be there to watch. Top top night, brilliant, amazing. "

"I booked Dan for my garden party, and he was absolutely outstanding. He brought a fantastic atmosphere to the day, and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed his music. Dan played the perfect mix of songs for the occasion and really understood what the crowd wanted. I loved his work and couldn’t be happier with how the event turned out. Highly recommended!"

"I would just like to personally thank Lovely and her husband for making the very long trip to Cornwall to entertain everyone at our daughter and son-in-laws's wedding. It was a beautiful day and your presence and singing elevated the entire event. I am not sure how much more of a recommendation I can give other than to say you were worth every penny. Every one got up and danced and we even had difficulty getting the guests to return to sit down for each course of their meal they just didn't want to stop the party. The comments we received about you were nothing less than amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you ."

"We had Ian play at the reception of our wedding & he was absolutely amazing played such a different mix of music & everything we had asked for, all of our guests commented on just how brilliant he was & how having him playing whilst we had our photos taken really made the reception. Ian was also so friendly I really couldn't recommend him enough thank you again."

"Ian stepped in as a fantastic addition to a community event for disadvantaged families in the Romford Town area, two years running. He very graciously brought along all his PA equipment and not only kept the crowds entertained with his wonderful singing and all round fabulous performance, he actually became the compare for the entire event and made it an absolutely roaring success. Highly recommended ... you will not be disappointed "

"Kate and her pianist were wonderful and everyone I have asked enjoyed their music and contribution to the party. I am only sorry I was so busy I didn't hear all of the music, and maybe I should have asked her to turn the volume up! It's a fine line between being too loud and getting people to listen to Kate's fantastic voice. Thank you very much - we really appreciated all the music. Funnily enough, looking through your resume, Victoria Newton sang at Tito's 50th birthday 10 years ago!"

"We had Rachel sing at our wedding ceremony at St John's Church in Heysham on Saturday 27th June 2015. Throughout the whole planning process nothing was too much trouble and Rachel made us feel at ease and relaxed about everything. We were both blown away when hearing our song choices being sung it was moving and fitting for the day. All of the congregation said how fantastic she was and a couple were almost moved to tears. It made our day extra special and was a pleasure to have Rachel as part of our wedding. "
