"Alan was recommended by our venue and with good reason as it turned out. He was there early and ready to go when we arrived and transitioned seamlessly to different rooms at different times of the day. He played both beautifully and seemingly tirelessly and many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the accompaniment, as did we. He was more than willing to learn new songs which we appreciated. We are incredibly glad he was part of our day and he made it that much more special. We would recommend his services without hesitation. "

"Ian was fantastic at our wedding. We wanted Ian to perform while everyone were eating their main courses and provide a very good mood. Ian did more then this and managed to get a lot of people on the dance floor because of how well he interacted with the audience. Thanks once again."

"My wife and I had a black tie/kilted dinner dance recently with over 90 guests of all ages. The highlight of the evening was the Northern Reel Collective.They had everyone up dancing and having fun and with a professional dance caller it all went incredibly well. We would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for a traditional, energetic, professional Ceilidh Band . "Nigel played while our guests were seated, during the Bridal Procession, the signing, the Wedding Exit, the Confetti Shoot , the Wedding Couple Entrance and the Wedding Breakfast. It was my wife's idea to have Nigel play at our wedding and after she had the idea I thought that sounds nice and a bit different. It was great to have Nigel play at the wedding and it gave the wedding music a more personal touch than just having recorded music. This was particularly the case with the Bridal Procession when you felt you could have been in a church. Nigel was very professional and unobtrusive. We left him to pick the playlist and he played a great variety of different tunes."
