"I could not resist the urge to write to you to tell you that many guests told us after the reception how much they enjoyed your performance. And many Irish people of the older generation said they have not heard the Irish lullaby for long, and some younger ones recalled their grandparents singing it. You did bring up fond memories."

"We hired the Rockpins for our Wedding in May 2010 and all I can say is that they were fantastic! They had a pre-defined set list but changed it for us to incorporate our requests which was great. The whole dance floor was packed and my Dad and his best mate still comment about how good they were now!! The guitarist truly is a legend - awesome. I cannot reccomend these guys highly enough - even if you are not looking at hiring a band check out their website for a local gig - you'll love it! Rob & Gem Rob & Gem Swainson (n/a) 10/10"

"What a ceilidh and what a band! By far the best ceilidh we have ever experienced. Over half of the guests had never been to a ceilidh before, but the walk-throughs were incredibly clear and ensured that everyone picked up the steps really quickly. The band managed to get so many guests up and dancing that we had to expand the size of our dance-floor, twice! The ceilidh was the highlight of the evening. We received a large number of compliments from the guests about the quality of the music. We would thoroughly recommend It's No' Reel to anyone!"

"Well, what can we say about Phils set other than amazing. Phil made our day so special, from the start to the end of his set. Our venue had a piano set up, which none of us knew about and Phil incorporated this into his set. It was honestly breathtaking, and made everything all that more Special. We’d seen him play in our local pub and fell in love with his performance then, and honesty he did not disappoint. Not only is Phil such a brilliant performer, he is such a genuine guy. It felt like he genuinely cared about our special day and what more can you ask for. All we can say is what a talented and genuine person you are Phil, and we cannot thank you enough for what you did. Your performance was outstanding and made our day that extra bit special. "After viewing lots of different bands on Youtube, we went to see Soul Funk Classic in a bar in Accrington. The music was excellent and although the stage wasn't big enough to have all 8 members, it was enough to persuade us to book them for our daughter's wedding. We live in West Yorkshire and agreed a very reasonable price including travel for the full 8 piece band. The music was excellent and appealed to a wide range of ages, playing classics that everyone knew, such as music from films The Blues Brothers, The Commitments and artists such as Aretha Franklin. They played 2 longs sets and had all the guests dancing: they were even asked for encores. The band were very friendly and integrated themselves into the event to help create a memorable occasion. Without hesitation I would definitely recommend them for your event!"
