Review Centre: Wedding Musicians

"Our party took place on a horrendous cold windy and rainy day; but, you wouldn't have guessed it! Steelosophical (duo with DJ services) bought the Carribean weather to the party and was all the guests talked about even 2 weeks after the party. The band were professional, and surprised me with their range of songs ( there was something for all ages and cultures) and their talent with one of the members taking a turn on the mic. They arrived early to set up so the guests were played to on arrival. The hotel in fact were late with the reception drinks which didn't matter as everyone was so transfixed with the band. Gary is a pleasure to deal with and happily used his experience of events to judge the mood of the event and play music accordingly. My mother always has to complain about something and she was full of praise for the band and the party as a result of the band. Result!! I would rate them 11/10 and would highly recommend them."

"Just wanted to say thank you for your help with arranging the booking for Rebecca at our event on Friday and thank you to Rebecca for the wonderful music. Everyone including my MD was super impress with Rebecca singing and playing. It was a lovely addition to our event, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the music. "We are now back from Honeymoon and I just wanted to say what an utterly incredible and movingly beautiful performance you gave us to round off our wedding evening. I have snippets of videos which I have watched over and over and every time, your lovely voice and soft playing is so wonderful to listen to. A touch of genius to set yourself up underneath the tree, the setting looked spectacular and really for me it was one of the absolute highlights of the day. I so wish it wasn’t my party so I could’ve just sat and listened to you the whole way through! Particularly special for me was the stunning rendition of Luke Bryan ‘play it again’ which moved me and my daughter to tears. "

"James played for our wedding both during the ceremony and wedding breakfast. We chose a few of our own songs for him to play which he was happy to do and for the rest we asked him to choose from his repertoire. He turned up early with plenty of time to set up, played well and the few times we got to speak to him briefly he was very friendly - a true professional. We'd certainly recommend James for any event. Thank you James for helping to make our day special!"

"Zoe is so talented, she not only played throughout our welcome drinks reception but learnt our chosen track for our first dance - which will be something we will always remember. We really enjoyed her playing and thought she was thoroughly professional throughout the day, even the small rain shower didn't put her off. Would recommend. "

"My Wife and I couldn't recommend and thank Blue Soul & LastMinuteMusicians enough. From our first enquiry right up until the event (our wedding day) we were looked after, all questions were answered quickly & professionally. We had asked for a specific first dance song, which wasn't on the repertoire, so both Hannah and Dave went away and learnt our song. They went up and beyond to make our day special, and for that we will forever be grateful. They are both incredibly talented musicians and their version of 'You & I' by John Legend was perfect!! Thank you!!"

"John went above and beyond our expectations and helped to make our day so special, even staying later than planned and allowing us to use his equipment for our speeches, the amount of people that approached us and said how fantastic having john perform during our wedding breakfast was startling, would 100% recommend that you consider using john for any upcoming events you may have. "Live music made our event so special. The guitarist came along with plenty of tunes to appeal to the guests and also took requests, so there was a varied and delightful musical backdrop to our tea party. Loads of complimentary comments from the guests too. Thank you."
