"We booked Laura fairly last minute but she played all the songs we wanted perfectly. She showed up and matched our vibe. We had Laura playing a piano on stage as we walked down the aisle and as the backing music to several parts of the ceremony and it really elevated the experience. So many guest commented on how great she was. I'd highly recommend Laura."

"Mark played at my dad’s funeral in the church, and I honestly don’t have the words to express just how incredible he was. From the moment he arrived, early, of course, he took complete control of the music and ensured everything was perfect. As people entered the church, Mark played meaningful music that completely set the tone. It was elegant, thoughtful, and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced at a funeral. It made the atmosphere feel so personal and beautiful, exactly what my dad would have wanted. Later, Mark also played at the celebration of my dad’s life at a stunning manor hotel, and again, he brought everything together with his extraordinary talent and care. He played songs that my dad absolutely loved, weaving them into both the church service and the celebration in a way that was seamless and full of heart. Mark truly exudes talent, but it’s not just his skill, it’s his kindness, his sensitivity, and his ability to read the moment. The day was, of course, deeply emotional and sad, but thanks to Mark, it also felt warm, thoughtful, and full of love. He created something so special. People spoke about the music all day and into the evening, about how moving it was, and how incredibly gifted he is. There is nothing this man cannot do. From hymns to personal favourites, Mark made my dad’s funeral and celebration of life something he would have been truly touched by. I know he would have been overwhelmed to know that someone so talented played for him. Mark, thank you from the bottom of my heart—for your music, your presence, and for helping us honor my dad in the most beautiful way."

"Mark was a fantastic addition to our wedding reception at Westminster College, Cambridge. He is very friendly and helpful and attentive to requests. But most importantly he is a very fine pianist. We were lucky that Westminster College has a Steinway (apparently one of the best he's played) and he truly made it sing. Mark played a very well curated set, mixing classical music and more contemporary songs (The theme to The Godfather received a number of appreciative nods from guests). Beautiful playing, but never intrusive, it was the perfect accompaniment to our wedding breakfast. He even received his own round of applause from the guests when he finished! We cannot recommend him highly enough."

"While planning a vintage tea party for Mum’s 90th birthday party, I needed an accompanist and piano player for my wartime and 40’s style sing along, which I planned to lead. My search found me the super talented and very accurate perfectionist Mark Burton at lastminutemusicians.com. When I made telephone contact and explained what I was planning, he totally understood and was very helpful making suggestions for songs to be played, arrangements and keys. We then had lots of communication over email, he was prompt to answer any questions and bent over backwards to help. On the day of the performance he greeted me with a smile and did his best to quell my nerves, during his solo spot, he played with distinction lots of old favourite tunes as background music. He played the piano in the venue for around 45 minutes solo then took a break and came back on his own keyboard with myself on vocals for a further hour set as accompaniment to my singing and the family sing along to tunes such as “putting on the Ritz” and a wartime medley from “pack up your troubles” through lots of other wonderful tunes ending on “land of hope and glory”. The result was that my Mother and indeed all of the family were thrilled to bits. They have been raving about it so much. It has given us outstanding and lasting memory of the perfect birthday with perfect entertainment supplied by Mark. Thank you so very much Mark you are an outstanding musician and I will recommend you to anyone in need."

"Emma sang at our wedding in August. She sang two songs whilst we were signing the register. She was amazing, her voice is beautiful and all of our guests loved it, many of them commenting on how fantastic she was. "Robbie was recruited as an undercover agent – and he absolutely nailed the assignment! My now-husband (still feels surreal saying that!) and I knew from the moment we got engaged that we wanted a small, intimate ceremony surrounded by just our closest family. With such a small guest list, I was a bit nervous that having different suppliers involved might make things feel staged and take away from the personal atmosphere – but I couldn’t have been more wrong. We had already booked a live singer for the ceremony and drinks reception, and since Robin is a huge classical music fan, most of the songs were naturally chosen by me. I really wanted to incorporate his love of music into our special day, and that’s when I reached out to Robbie. Not only did Robbie put together a playlist based on my husband’s favourite songs and artists – he even went out of his way to learn two of his absolute favourites. Robbie performed during our wedding breakfast (as a complete surprise for the groom!) and coordinated setting up in secret perfectly. Everyone commented on how incredible the music was – they were truly blown away. We honestly can’t recommend Robbie highly enough – thank you for helping to make our day absolutely perfect!"

"Rob has used his incredible talents as a pianist to help us as a family. First and foremost with his friendly and nurturing approach to piano lessons for our son - who has passed all of his tests with distinctions! Rory enjoys his lessons with Rob immensely and has learned a love of the instrument that we had previously tried and failed to inspire. Rob also provided excellent entertainment for my wife's 40th birthday party with a set of classic piano tunes to add a touch of class to the event. he is approachable and kind and know exactly where to pitch his lessons; I really couldn't recommend Rob highly enough for lessons and events."
