"Eager to please and delivers! This was Gavin's first gig at The Hightown and, to be fair, a bit of a tricky one. For our St. George's Celebration Night we required an act that could not only please the crowd with an interesting and varied set list, but that could also confidently include some traditional patriotic songs to set the right tone for our themed event. Given Gavin's act is wholly acoustic, this presented something of a challenge, but any fears I had were laid to rest as Mr Clarke delivered his own arrangements of songs like "Land of Hope & Glory" and "There Will Always Be An England" along with an assortment of others that really entered into the flag-waving spirit of things splendidly! Managing to win over the enthusiasm of a crowd more used to a heavy drum beat and driving bass line to get them going is no mean feat and Gavin's skill in putting together and serving up a programme that successfully catered for all our needs, without reproducing songs already done to death, was evidenced by people thoroughly enjoying themselves and taking to the dance floor. It's this ability to deliver that won him two further appreciative bookings with us! With a level of skill in guitar playing that is something to behold, Gavin's excellent vocal performance also deserves high praise, so if you are looking to engage the services of a fine vocalist, a fluent guitarist and a heck of a nice guy with bags of talent, you could do your venue or party a massive service and book Gavin for yourselves. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 70th Birthday Party. Gavin sang quietly during dinner many of our favourite 60's songs and later everyone was on the dance floor. We had so many good comments from our friends and many asked where we had found such a good entertainer. Thank you Gavin for making our 70th Birthday Party such a success and it will go down as a very happy memorable evening. "

"Nigel has performed at a number of events for us from playing and entertaining our visitors at our Christmas Fairs & Roadshows for a few hundred people to our smaller Memory Cafe meet ups. In 2020, Nigel continued to support our events as we moved virtually due to Covid-19 - it meant people we support, families and community could still enjoy his beautiful music. A pleasure to work with and our latest event, The Big Give MacIntyre Virtual Christmas Concert has had the most views for any event we have ever shared on YouTube. We look forward to planning our next event with Nigel. "

"Nigel played on a grand piano at our wedding drinks reception at Shuttleworth House, Old Warden. Every piece played was beautiful and kept in with our theme. The music set a warm and joyful atmosphere on a very cold day. Nigel is very polite and made time to speak to guests after his performance. I highly recommend, it added a very special touch to our very special day. "

"Emily was brilliant from start to finish. She helped with the music selection (not being too sure what would be best) alongside agreeing to play a particular piece that we wanted, and it was just perfect for the occasion. Emily was a pleasure to speak with and even more of a pleasure to listen to! Simply beautiful. Thoroughly recommended - and put it this way, everyone was asking for her card so that says it all! I hope to work with her again on a more celebratory event."

"We booked JHope for pre-ceremony and ceremony music after my sister recommended him, she saw him perform at a wedding she went to and wouldn't stop talking about his performance. After searching him online and finding him on one of his social media platforms, I was sold. I wanted JHope to perform at my wedding and I anticipated it would be a dream come true....it was. JHope turned up on time and looked the part, very smart and professional, his music absolutely blew my guests away and from the moment I heard him play I knew that everything to follow would fall into place. He set the standard with his pre-ceremony music, my guests enjoyed every second of his performance and his rendition of This Women's Work made walking down the aisle everything I imagined and more. JHope's music anchors the memories created, my husband and I will forever be grateful. I think he's going to be a hard one to pin down soon, book him if you get the chance. "

"This lady sang at my father’s funeral. She sang all of the hymns during the church service beautifully, people commented on how good she was. I booked her at short notice and the communication with her was great. I would recommend her and would definitely book her in the future. Thank you. "
