"Nigel went above and beyond for our stunning wedding in South Farm, Royston. I wanted to prerecord me singing a levellers song but with tweaked lyrics to walk down the aisle and also to sing our first dance-Annie’s Song ,with Nigel playing live. He spent many hours working on it, and giving me great advice. His playing throughout the day was skillful and everyone enjoyed listening to him. He made our day even more magical and I struggle to get over to him how much we appreciated it! Nigel you are a truly gifted and talented piano playing gentleman! "

"Quite possibly 100% one of the best decisions we made, booking Nigel for our wedding at Huntsmill Farm. Nigel is super talented with the most welcoming personality. He has the most amazing repertoire; there does not seem to be anything he cannot play or will put his hand too!! Nigel played for our wedding ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast and OMG what an edition he was!!! I say edition, he totally made those elements of our wedding as amazing as they were. His talent is second to none, the ambience he brings with it is just magical and was the perfect choice for our day. We literally cannot recommend Nigel enough; he will absolutely make your day as magical and as special as you want it to be. Everyone at our wedding spoke very highly of Nigel and loved his music – they absolutely loved him as much as we did. We would 150,000% recommend Nigel. We promise you will not be disappointed, quite the opposite, you will be glad to have him as part of your day."

"We had the pleasure of having Nigel play at our wedding for both the ceremony and the lunch. His timing and instincts matched the flow of the day perfectly, and he even learned a custom mix of two songs for the bride’s entrance. His catalogue spans everything from classical to contemporary, we struggled to choose! Our guests gave him many compliments for both his range and skill. Our only regret is that we don’t have another wedding to book him for!"

"Emily was brilliant from start to finish. She helped with the music selection (not being too sure what would be best) alongside agreeing to play a particular piece that we wanted, and it was just perfect for the occasion. Emily was a pleasure to speak with and even more of a pleasure to listen to! Simply beautiful. Thoroughly recommended - and put it this way, everyone was asking for her card so that says it all! I hope to work with her again on a more celebratory event."

"Five Star Google Review: Nigel was a star! We hired Nigel as our wedding pianist for our ceremony and wedding breakfast and he was perfect! From the booking process to the performance on the day everything was easy and clear which was much appreciated with so much going on in wedding planning. He paid attention to even the smallest of details to ensure he fit in with our desired theme and vision. He has the most impressive repertoire I have seen and executed my requests flawlessly. "Eager to please and delivers! This was Gavin's first gig at The Hightown and, to be fair, a bit of a tricky one. For our St. George's Celebration Night we required an act that could not only please the crowd with an interesting and varied set list, but that could also confidently include some traditional patriotic songs to set the right tone for our themed event. Given Gavin's act is wholly acoustic, this presented something of a challenge, but any fears I had were laid to rest as Mr Clarke delivered his own arrangements of songs like "Land of Hope & Glory" and "There Will Always Be An England" along with an assortment of others that really entered into the flag-waving spirit of things splendidly! Managing to win over the enthusiasm of a crowd more used to a heavy drum beat and driving bass line to get them going is no mean feat and Gavin's skill in putting together and serving up a programme that successfully catered for all our needs, without reproducing songs already done to death, was evidenced by people thoroughly enjoying themselves and taking to the dance floor. It's this ability to deliver that won him two further appreciative bookings with us! With a level of skill in guitar playing that is something to behold, Gavin's excellent vocal performance also deserves high praise, so if you are looking to engage the services of a fine vocalist, a fluent guitarist and a heck of a nice guy with bags of talent, you could do your venue or party a massive service and book Gavin for yourselves. "
