Review Centre: Wedding Musicians

" Myself and my (now) husband had the pleasure of James singing at our wedding. Being huge music enthusiasts, we really didn't want random music playing in the background - we knew we wanted a live performer - oh how James delivered! He entertained the guests up to me walking down the aisle, and sang the most beautiful version of our favourite song for the "aisle song". James then performed for us during the wedding breakfast. Honestly, every single guest commented on how amazing her was. Everyone thought he was fab and he really knew how to read the atmosphere. After the meal, my guests were singing along and clapping like lunatics. It was ace! Thanks so so much James - you were such a big part of our day!"

"I was the Producer on Bobby and Cameron`s debut music video. The duo`s passion for what they do is so contagious that there was no way of not getting on board for their project. I do believe the boys have a star-like characteristics and they will go far. I absolutely loved working with them - from their professionalism pre, during and post filming as performers, to the music they make and the positivity they approach everything with, they make the top of my list with people I'd work with again (and believe me, the list is long)."

"My event was a private engagement proposal at a venue which required discretion to keep everything a top secret. I discussed at length with Nigel beforehand what my requirements were and he sent a huge list of songs he could play from memory which really helped me select a playlist to ensure the evening was fun yet intimate! We had discussions of some songs which were fundamental to the evening, such as the entrance/proposal song itself and Nigel was so accommodating to my needs, even when I changed and added songs over the coming weeks from his repertoire. There were some songs not listed which I wanted adding but luckily Nigel admitted he also knew how to play them. The evening itself ran beautifully, Nigel blended well with the surroundings (not easy to mix roses with a Ferrari F40) but he managed it. Songs were played brilliantly, and he even slipped in a couple of extra songs to suit the mood. I’d recommend asking him to play The Interstellar Theme by Hans Zimmer :) Thanks Nigel, we had a great evening, and fortunately Chloe said YES! "

"I spent a significant amount of time reviewing various artists and came across Jimmy. I booked him for my mum and dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary in Bristol at the Brewhouse in Clifton. Being an ex-musician myself I am generally very fussy on music and artists for gigs, I was blown away by Jimmy's whole evening. Jimmy has modern equipment with exceptional support from his backing tracks. He is a true professional singer and extremely talented musician. His entire set was varied and he was even kind enough to play background music at the start of the evening. I can't recommend his enough, this is extremely great value for the cost, brilliant entertainment and he has even picked up a few fans along the way of the evening. Jimmy made the entire evening for everyone. I will use him again and again if I can."

"We loved having Jam Duo play on our wedding day! It was the perfect atmosphere for our wedding breakfast. We'd chosen songs that were the first dances of our family members and so many of them came up to us later in the day saying that they'd had a special moment hearing their song played so beautifully. They were also very flexible around timings when we had some last minute changes to the order of our day, which was really appreciated. Would highly recommend!"

"I wanted to thank you and the band for a wonderful afternoon of entertainment - the playing and singing was marvellous and not too loud so people could enjoy listening and talking at the same time and also inspired some dancing!! A lot of people asked where I found you so should anyone have an event coming up and need a jazz band I will pass on your details. "Danny is very personable and we loved having him entertain our birthday guests at our home. Good communication and totally reliable. Good feedback from our guests who enjoyed his entertainment. We looked at lots of videos of potential singers/guitarists, and chose Danny. He didn't disappoint! Thank you for helping to make Karen's party a success Danny, we all wish you well."

"We visited Mappleborough Green Garden Centre today for lunch so that we could check out the live music Friday programme that we'd heard about. What a perfect afternoon! Christa was an amazing pianist as she was able to appeal to all ages with the massive range of music years that she covered...and some beautifully different arrangements of some well known tracks too! She even took time in her break to check out song requests from both Nanny and Grandad....and she squeezed in an Adele track for me and my hubbie at the end! Thanks Christa. It was lovely to meet you 😊 We'll be back to see you soon and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you for weddings or parties!! "

"We’ve always enjoyed Josh’s music and have seen him lots of times in various venues around Newbury. He has a great voice, is a really talented guitarist and has a very varied set, ranging from quiet, soulful tracks to full on floor fillers. Josh played at our recent birthday party in our local pub and did not disappoint. He was the highlight of the afternoon and evening and had people on their feet and joining in by the end of the night. Everyone said how much they enjoyed his performance and how he’d made the event really special. We can’t recommend Josh highly enough, for big or small events - he’ll definitely make them as enjoyable as he did ours! "
